I had bought new in 2012. It did not have many miles maybe 1500 or 2000 mi. Took to dealer told them it sounded like it had a dry bearing in rear end. They never said what it was. As I continue to drive, the noise is getting worse. Of course it is not under warranty. Now only about 30,000 miles on it. My brother in law worked for a Dodge dealer and said he had to fix many of these on a bulletin put out from Dodge. I never received any thing from them. I was told by my brother in law the pinion nut backed off causing pinion slop. The dealer had to replace pinion nut and re torquing. I don`t think I would buy another one. I have no idea how much it will cost to fix?
