The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while parked, the vehicle failed to shift out of park. In addition, the contact stated that the brake light illuminated without the brakes being applied. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing where the brake sensor spring was adjusted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate mileage was 6,800.
