I am losing money as I use my Ford Edge for uber driving and can not use the rental Ford is paying for to drive uber. So far Ford has paid close to $3000 for the rental and my car is only worth $4000. Seems they should just buy my car from me this is taking way too long and I'm about to get evicted because I can't work my extra job

Takata recall been over a year and still no parts available for the bomb in my vehicle. Ford says it is safe but there are people killed and hurt by shrapnel from bad airbags. Ford has an open bounty on 2006 Ranger pickups for this issue.

Takata recall. Recall happened Jan 2017. It's now Aug 2018 and there is no fix for this issue. It seems ridiculous and very unsafe that the only option I have is to pay for a rental car when the company has had almost 2 years to fix this problem. I called Ford about a month ago and they told me there is still no fix for the problem and won't be for a while yet.

The NHTSA says vehicles are being prioritized based on the likelihood of danger. Factors include the age of your car and where you live. This is due to the fact that there's a link between malfunctioning air bags and long-term exposure to heat and high humidity. I am in zone B but I am a 5 minute drive from South Carolina. So my question is does that mean because I am 5 miles from South Carolina, is my faulty airbag safer than the vehicles with the faulty takata airbags in SC, zone a ? I first received notice July, 2016. Now Ford has rented me a vehicle (sardine can) because they don't know when replacement parts will be available. The fact that they knew long before this vehicle was available for sale that the airbags were unsafe, is tantamount to criminal negligence. If they aren't called to task they will continue endangering lives in order to increase the value of their stock. Made in America used to mean something, not anymore. At approximately 20,000 putting the car in drive or reverse it makes some clunking noise and hesitates before it engages. On an incline the car rolls back and you have to work gas and brake together, this is a automatic, not a stick shift. At 71 I do not appreciate that Ford has been playing russian roulette with the lives of my mom, daughter, granddaughters & great grandchildren, this vehicle hasn't been safe from the day it rolled off the assembly line.
