I noticed in the heat that my car wasn't cooling when I was sitting at stop lights. My car then showed the overheating light. I pulled over immediately and had my car towed to the dealership. With 40000 miles on my car I had to replace the fan motor. So far I have had three significant problems with my Ford Edge and none have been under warranty or recalls. I will never buy another Ford again

THIS IS TRULY ANNOYING BECAUSE I HAVEN'T HAD THE CAR THAT LONG. THERE WAS HEAT BLOWING WHEN I TURNED THE AC ON. IT WAS A HOT DAY AND THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HOT AIR BLOWING WHEN YOU REALLY WANT COLD AIR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS COVERED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. I HAD TO PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE OF $100 AND THE WARRANTY PAID ROUGHLY $200.

Living in Texas a/c is a must but when the passenger vents are blowing 90 degrees and driver side is blowing 73 degrees, this combination creates a Texas-sized humidity inside the vehicle. Strangest thing is, the passenger thermostat control is rarely used. Another problem to fix $$$$$$$$$$$, FORD!

The drivers side air conditioner started blowing hot air while the passenger's side blows out cold air. I thought it was the actuator and replaced it, but as soon as I used my defrost hot air starting blowing out the drivers side again when the AC is on. We googled it and followed a youtube video to master reset the car, by shutting it off and on with windows up and down and disconnected the battery and followed all the instructions and it fixed it and then stopped working again when the defrost was used. Ford dealers are telling me it's the actuator but it's not. If you google it, many people spend hundreds of dollars replacing all 4 actuator and every time they used their defrost the ac stopped working on the drivers side only. This should of been recalled. I have only owned this car for 14 months, and have had issue after issue.I am so mad I allowed the dealership to con me into this ford.
