The contact stated that while the vehicle was at an independent mechanic for a faulty oxygen sensor, the mechanic informed her that the water pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the dealer replaced the water pump and timing chain. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.
