All the car sensors have gone out it says the doors are open at all time even when closed tightly the lights come on and go off on their own when it's parked and the engine is shut off the engine oil light pops on and off the air pressure light stays on the air bag light goes on and off the back up camera hardly ever works. The head lights have dropped down and only shine out about a 15 feet ahead of you while driving.

Have had lights stay on, come back on or radio turn on in garage after it has been sitting for a while. 10 or more instances of the battery being completely discharged after being turned off in garage for two to four days. There will be no problems for a long time followed by times when every other week there is a problem to having to disconnect the battery every night or it won't start. We have replaced the battery 4 or 5 times and have again on a new deep cycle battery having problems. Also had vehicle shut down at a stop sign in first 6 months to year of life. The dealership said it was some sort of fuel thing that needs to be cleaned every 10,000 miles to keep it from happening again. However, it could easily have been the battery, my wife was driving and is not mechanically inclined. We have had constant battery problems but no further fuel issues.

Door ajar light came on and would not go out. The door was shut completely. The lights inside the car therefore stayed on as it thought the door was open. This seems to be a known problem for Ford- lots and lots of complaints online about the exact issue- which is where I found out what it was. I had to pay to have a dealer fix this- $553.46.

Driver door will not lock. Door ad jar message on dash. When you manually lock the door they immediately unlock. Can not keep doors locked. Tried locking door before starting engine but doors unlocks as soon as car starts even before car is in motion. This happens almost all the time the car is started. Takata recall my 2013 Ford Edge has been experiencing issues with the door. It constantly tells me my door is open when it is in fact closed. The lights stay on and if I try to drive the car it gives me a warning saying shift to park and that the door is open. It's been happening continusly and sometimes the door won't lock at all. It normally happens when I'm in park but as of recently it's happened as im droving. I'm also having issues with my brakes hitting the floor and my car excellerating instead of slowing down when the brakes are pressed...this normally happens on a freeway when I'm driving at high speeds.

While it starts intermittently, the 'door ajar' light is coming on ' and staying on even when the door is certainly closed. Over time there is no amount of door slamming that can get that warning light to shut off. It's most likely an electrical issue related to the switch inside the latch mechanism. While the door will mechanically latch, issues with the switch make the door appear to be open to the car's electronic control unit (ECU). It doesn't matter if the vehicle is in park, drive, neutral, reverse. The light still remains on when attempting to close the door. This has been happening for several months.
