MORE GOOD NEWS FROM FORD.......WE DON'T KNOW WHATS WRONG. TELL ME ONE THING AND THEN ITS SOMETHING ELSE. FIRST IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION....NOW ITS THE ENGINE? THE ENGINE IS RUNNING REALLY ROUGH. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS BAG OF PIECES THAT FORD CALLS AN ESCAPE. THIS THING IS GOING TO BE TRADED FOR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WILL RETAIN ITS VALUE AND NOT BECOME SOMEONES PAPER WEIGHT.

The same as April A. Our escape will randomly decide not to run unless I have my foot on the gas. I'll manage to get it to the shop (after many rolling starts) and it will work just fine the next day when they get to it. HELP! Yesterday it died twice right after I started it and then preformed fine the rest of the trip.

I bought my Escape new and have taken very good care of it. Now when you start it, it dies, unless you have your foot on the gas. Take your foot off the gas to stop at a light or go around a curve the damn thing dies. When the Ford service center has it, it doesn't do it for them.
