Foot activated cargo hatch closed unexpectedly whenever I was loading groceries. It knocked me on the head and does not reverse itself very easily. Could easily cause an injury. The sensor is so sensitive that having my feet anywhere near the bumper causes it to close, and it is impossible to load cargo without your feet near the bumper! Also, the hatch closing alarm tones are so muted that I couldn't hear them in a busy parking lot. Terrible design!

My solution was to pull the fuse for the foot sensor in the cargo area fuse panel. I can still open the hatch with the button or remote.
