What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request" APIM issues causing GPS, Bluetooth, radio, settings and camera to mess up. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Getting lost on the road without GPS. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has been to a Ford dealership. They were able to recreate the issue. They state the APIM is bad. We had to have the APIM reset with less than 9k miles on the vehicle. They are now saying resetting the APIM is not resolving the issue. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear" No, this started about 2 months ago. We were just able to get the vehicle looked at this week.

There are 3 issues going on with my SUV. Each item has been identified or verified at my local dealership. My main issue is that the car occasionally will not go into the correct gear. This mostly happens when I haven't driven the car in a couple of days, and it's cold out. It also shifts hard for no reason. I was informed that there is some sort of transmission issue with my type suv. I never received a recall notice or anything. Second, my alarm goes off in the middle of the night randomly. The dealership said this was due to a faulty latch on the back of the car. They also said this was a newer issue that other customers have had. Last, my pre-collision assist will activate when there is nothing around to trigger it. This has happened one time so far.

My check charging system light came on at a drive thru and the truck put itself in park and shut off. I tried to start it back up and wouldn-??t start but the starter keep trying which lead to an electrical fire and the only way to get it to stop was to disconnect the battery. I was not even able to get the truck in neutral to push it out of the way. Even following the steps that it says by pressing both the brake and gas pedal and moving the knob. It would just go back in park. I had to have a tow truck to come remove my truck out of the drive thru is was blocking. My concern is that if this happened in a garage while using the remote start, it could-??ve completely caught fire had not, I-??ve been paying attention.

I was sitting at the kitchen table with my children doing some painting projects for Halloween and my car started smoking, my alarms started going off and within a matter of minutes my car was completely engulfed in flames, I grabbed my kids and ran outside as the car was close to our house and we then called 911. By the time the fire department arrived the car was a complete loss, and my house has sustained minor damages.

We were driving on the highway and attempting to change lane when the engine ceased to work properly, the vehicle would not excelerate and a indicator with a crowbar came on. As we begin to steer toward the shoulder of the road we narrowly avoided getting hit by cars behind us. The car then begin to work again. We took it to the dealer who ran a diagnostic and stated there is no problem but the vehicle periodically does this and so our use of it is limited as we are afraid it could cause a fatal accident. The dealer did not inspect any of the vehicles parts and no warning indicator was present prior to the car shutting off. Our vehicle has the V6 turbocharged engine just like the Ford F150.

The transmission seems to be missing gears and shifting violently at weird times, completely losing transmission engagement and randomly shifting into neutral when acceleration pedal is engaged at a higher speed on the highway and then the vehicle will all of the sudden try to shift back into gear violently at moments of high speed acceleration. It has issues finding the gear sometimes completely disengaging into neutral and a crackling popcorn sound coming from front passenger side under the car. The headrest in the third row, driver side is permanently, flipped down and gaged into the back of the head of the passenger, possibly resulting in a life-threatening injury during an accident The information screenshot of vehicle in the front, which displays all of the apps, air, music, sometimes randomly is blank, black screen with no power

The Car ELECTRIC 120V 150Watt connector is failing to hold into any plug into the socket thus falling or pulling halfway out and creating a dangerous situation to our children sitting on the back. In trying to plug back in one of our children got an electrical shock. On another instance the electrical plug came halfway out and made contact with some metal and an electrical arc was created and started a small fire with our children sitting on the back. The circuit braker did NOT pop or quit working so we had to dry stop in the middle of traffic to prevent fire from spreading. We took the car to a Ford dealership to be repaired and they dismiss us till I show them our other 2021 F350 same electrical plug exactly the same and how tight it holds the electrical plug! Not till then the Service advisor told us "Yes it needs to be change" we have been waiting for this to happen over 6 months now without resolution.

At 1000K miles the electrical panels on the car lit up like a christmas tree. When it was pulled over and placed into park, it jumped. We called the dealer to be told it was a glitch and would work itself out. The next time, we took pictures and they misdiagnosed it twice. The third time, they saw it and did a bandaid repair and now say they have to dissamble and rebuild the car's electrical system, including dropping fuel tanks and other major components to get there. They are evaluating whether or not they "buy back" the car and we take a large depreciation hit and the months it took to repair it. It was 1000 miles when it happened and they should have offered a full refund. Now we have a car of questionalbe integrity, they did not let us know how bad the problem was at the bandaid repair stage, and now want to charge us for a factor defect. This is after we bought a truck that developed the Ford "death wobble" and returned the vehicle at a loss. We had a Suburban for 20 years and no issues. Ford, while facing multiple lawsuits on many cars, will not own up to factory mistakes. 3 misdiagnosis and then a bandaid fix without accountability of how extensive the problem was with the vehicle. Ford corporate did not ask for pictures and refused to give us email address contact information for the legal department. Ridiculou
