I have owned Fords most of my life but I am thinking of staying away from Ford all together in the future if they can't make good on their screw ups. Why stay and waste my money on their products if they are making crap they won't fix.. This is by far the worst and I'm very discouraged in the Ford Co. Least they can do is satisfy their costumers by fixing an obvious problem with more than enough proof.. 2000 through 2006 tyranny's are crap and they know it and the original paint on mine is awful, incomplete, the edges never even got paint all around the hood and other areas. Ford has to face up or fall, it's that simple...

when I purchesed this vehicle i was washing it and i noticed visible defects in the paint { it's black} I even noticed a paint chip on the rear passenger door above the window no paint but visably clear coated. What I then did was take a china marker to all the defects I could see in the paint job, it looked as if shi# had been thrown through a screen door. I then proceded to take it to the dealership and show them. Well they said they would buff out the vehicle , which they said they did, but it didn't look any different , my mistake was not taking any pictures. Anyway they said they would have to paint the whole vehicle to correct the problem, but weren't prepared to do that. Quality is job one is a motto I beleive ford should rethink. It's no wonder Asian car companies are doing so well in North America, and the chinese have not landed here yet , but it wonn't be long. Companies in North America had better waken up, or are they already selling us all out by invesring everywhere but here as it would appear.

Noticed that the hood and roof were showing signs of cracking underneath the paint. Had a repair done on the roof and a month later the paint cracked again. Brought it back and they don't have any idea on what is causing the problem. Took it to the Ford dealer and got the same response from them.

I just finished washing my car and when drying it noticed 2 bubbles under the rear tail light, one is already peeling. I am going to try to contact the dealer but there is nothing in my extended warranty about paint and I couldn't find any recalls for paint, so I am sure the problem will be mine to fix, which I will even though it is a 2002 I keep my vehicles looking like new. Thanks Ford for that Great paint job!!! You Suck!!!

paint cracking on hood and cab went to the ford dealership when my warranty was still good. they said they did not have any openings for appointments for maybe three months so come back and make appointment later. told the paint and body guy that my warranty might be up by then he says don't worry you made a complaint before the warranty was up. so stupid me I take his word for it. couple months past by and I go back and they tell me my warranty is up so they can't do it under the warranty. I wanted to choke the hell out of that body/paint guy. I just hate even looking at my truck it just disgusts me. I don't even like washing it anymore cause the chipps show up even more. I'm never buying a ford ever again. they don't stand by their problems but when they wanted money in hand at the dealership they had no problems. they suck ass.

The paint on the hood of my Ford Explorer is bubbling up and peeling. It is only a small area right now but continues to chip. How can this be fixed? I think Ford should be responsible for defective paintmanship. This has never happened on another vehicle that I have owned that was manufactured by another company.

I won't buy another Ford because they do not stand behind their quality of vehicle
