F-150 8-cyl

  • 212,500 miles
The passenger seat suddenly reclined and will not lock into place. The local dealer stated there is no recall for this despite (96E010000). I have expressed concerns with them in case the driver seat has the same malfunction and they still refuse to acknowledge that Ford should take responsibility for this.

F-150 8-cyl

  • 200,000 miles
Truck was parked, turned off, and parked in my driveway. Approximately 3:45am I heard glass break and looked out the window to see the inside of the truck on fire. I ran and grabbed 2 fire extinguishers and a water hose; and I put the fire out. The truck is totalled now. Ford asked me to tow it into the nearest Ford dealer (which I paid for) asap so they could inspect it since my truck recall was not yet fixed per Ford's system. The dealership just said it's not Ford's fault even though the fire happened the same way numerous other recall fires occurred. I do not believe them, so I have begun a lawsuit against them if my truck is not replaced by Ford.
