The contact owns a 1995 Ford F150. While the vehicle was parked on a hill with the emergency brake engaged, the contact heard a loud bang. The vehicle rolled forward into the neighbor's driveway and struck their vehicle. A police report was filed. There is a NHTSA campaign id number 94V169001 (parking brake:conventional) for the 1992-1994 Ford F150, but none relating to the 1995 vehicle. The failure mileage was 86,000. Updated 10/07/08.
