The contact owns 2004 Ford F350. The vehicle shut down without warning while driving 40 mph. The vehicle was towed to a repair facility. The mechanic stated that the fuel injector control pressure sensor connector melted. The wires and the cps sensor were replaced. The fuel injector control module will also need to be replaced. The estimated cost for the repairs were $653. A report was filed with the manufacturer who stated that his VIN was not included in recall 05V270000 electrical system: Wiring. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 8,005 and the current mileage was 14,589.
