This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
After 1st hard rainstorm of the season . Had 2nd row seats wet. Took upon myself to investigate. After removing 3rd brake light assembly I found the gasket wasn't even close to matching up to the body of the vehicle. took to dealership under wty. replaced lamp assembly under wty.

Cargo light leaked when it rained. This happened shortly after I bought my truck, it rained and I noticed my back seat was wet, after inspecting the situation I noticed drips of water on window. This was fixed under my warranty but still left a stain on my back seat.

After a hard South Florida rainstorm, I noticed that my backseat was wet. I called the dealer, who immediately knew what the problem was, the third brake light needed to be replaced (it sits at the top portion of the outside rear cab). Apparently, the gasket around the light fixture, shrinks up and allows water to flow into the light down into the cab. The part was $65 and the labor was $20, in all honesty, I could have done the fix myself but I did not realize that at the time. Ford quality sucks, and they refuse to stand by their produce (my truck just turned 4 but had only 19,000 miles). This should never happen on a 19,000 vehicle that is typically garage kept. My next truck will be a Toyota Tundra.
