After the repairs the contact stated the air bag warning light continued to illuminate. The dealer was contacted and stated it could be caused by a failure in the seat belt. The dealer stated that the vehicle be taken in for diagnostic testing and would not be covered under the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 72,100.
