Driving in rain and back right window fell. 2 days later front right window fell. 1 week later back left window feel. Driving in fog 1 month later driver side feel. Almost crashed on major highway. This is not cool. If ford knows about this according to reseach then why isnt it recalled. As of last week after doing research I finally filed a complaint with the better business bearu. Ford called me and said they could not fix the issue. I told them what if something happend and i crashed or got killed then are you responsible. They had no reply.

So i have a pending complaint with DPS and The Attorney General. This is unbelieveable. Justice will serve if everyone comes together and files with the attorney general so dont ever give up if ford says no. They want business then show them you mean business.

Where do I start? It's January in Kansas, someone has pissed off the snow Gods and in retaliation they cast a blizzard upon us. Thats not so bad now is it? Kids off school, school teacher wife at home, plenty of firewood. Me man, me have 4X4 ford truck, me go to work. So off I go thermos in hand. Maybe I should take an extra pair of gloves... no I got a heater in my truck. Good thing Ford knows how to keep raidios working in their trucks, I heard on the way to work its going to get heavier as the day goes on. Thats fine I got a Ford truck. I get to work, grab my tools and head into the job site. The buildings not bad compared to the 0 degree temps outside, its about a nice toasty 35 degrees inside. 8 hours later and about 16 inches of snow later the wind is howling at about 60 mph and its time to go home! I make the tough trek to the truck, unlock it and climb in, the heater will be warm in no time at! WOW, it snowed so hard it filled my back seat up with snow, did I piss off the snow Gods? Upon further investigation It was found that Ford really sucks at making window regulaters that keep your windows rolled up when your in the middle of a blizzard. It was also found that duct tape will not stick in sub zero temps, and that yes my dumb ass should have taken that extra pair of gloves to work, along with ski goggles and other apperel that was needed to drive 45 minutes back home in my snow filled truck. OH THANKS FOR THOSE FOND MEMORIES FORD!

Ford is putting Mickey mouse parts in their trucks, my 2004 F150 truck’s window just decided to roll down on its own, a week later the driver side just decided it would stop about 3/4 way up, then about 5 minutes later it just rolled down. I checked it out on-line; hundreds have done the same, some in the drive in the middle of the night. Ford said there is not a problem, they are Ford tough, Quality was job ONE!!! That means roll your right window up and down approx 100 times the driver side two or three hundred times and you will get to replace them for $325 each. I have a different definition or FORD Tough and Quality.

I experienced the same issues as many others. LOUD POP! then the driver window rolled itself down (while it was parked). It is an obvious issue and I called the Ford Customer service number (1-800-392-3673). The service rep took down all my information and said that a report has now been filed and will be reviewed. But at this time no recall exists. So it looks like I will be spending some money and time on an issue that is at the fault of poor engineering.

I urge anyone else that has this issue to please call and report it (each time it happens). It seems that may be the only way we will ever get a recall!

I had my third window fall into the door yesterday. This time it happened while my wife was at the grocery store. When she came out of the store with here groceries the window was down. The first time it happened while driving down the road in the middle of a rain storm. The second time was on a summer trip to Florida. These windows have been a Hugh pain in the but and I can't believe Ford is not concerned with it. They do not realize or care that they are losing customers.

The dealership wants over 600.00 per window that's 1800.00 passed on to us because Ford decided to use cheap parts. I refuse to pay that much money when I feel ford should put out a recall. Here is what I do to keep the windows up for under $5.00. First, purchase a small inflatable football. Second, remove the door panel and unplug the window from the window switch. Third, raise the window by hand and place the football in the door directly undress the bottom of the window. Fourth, inflate the football where until it becomes tight inside the door. Be careful not to over inflate the football so it doesn't push the door out kinda like a reverse dent. This will save you 595 dollars but you will not be able to roll the window down.

Maybe ford will wise up and put out a recall!!! That's the only way I will ever buy another ford.

This is the third of four windows to fail! The first was under warranty. Ford says I need to have the dealer verify what the problem is. They want 80 bucks for that. Based on the description of what I told the service advisor happened, he said it was the regulators. He also stated it doesn't sound unusual to him. Honestly, 3 of 4 windows failed isn't unusual???? When will the fourth one go? Based on what I've seen just on this site alone there is a problem with something, and they won't own up to it!!!!

I'm so pissed off that there is not a recall on the 2004 F150 ford window regulators and motors. Last summer my back passenger window went down and had to replace the regulator $278.00, then April 2011 my back driver side window goes down and it was the regulator; have not had it fixed yet due to not having the spare money. So I have it propped up with boards inside the door to keep the window up. In August 2011 the front driver side window went down and I had to replace it $178.00, now today my front passenger side window goes down. So what the heck is causing these to go out all of a sudden? Could there be a faulty fuse or switch on the dang pickup that is causing this? From looking on websites this is not the first, there are plenty of complaints. Now I have two windows that I don't have the money to repair the windows with at this time. Come on Ford, the company that satisfies their customers? Ha! Ha! Get the recall out on this piece of sh*t defective window regulators and help your customers out in getting these fixed.

I expect issue with a truck that has 158,000 miles (I am the original owner) but so far I have had to replace the steering column, ball joints, spent over $3000 to repair cam phasers, the transmission is howling like crazy, and now the damned window drops. My 99 Lariat had 156,000 on it when I traded it in and the only thing I ever replaced on it was brakes, tires, and bulbs. I should have kept it. This truck has been a pain in my ass and I very well may buy a Dodge or GM the next time and that is saying something since I have owned nothing but Fords since 1993, of which 5 were purchased brand new. I am pissed off that I am spending another damned night in the garage fixing something that is broken rather than enjoying myself in the garage building something.
