The truck slammed into 1st gear going 55 mph on the interstate. Through investigation a speed sensor warning was the culprit. Not being able to have truck service for a month due to Ford Dealers being backed up Cavalier Ford sent a mobile mechanic out to me. He spent about 10 minutes on my truck handed me the keys and told me he did something with the computer mo parts are needed. He never test drove it to ensure the problem was corrected. When I went to drive the truck, the wrench light was still on and was worse than before. Actually stuck in first gear. After going around and around I was informed by Fors Customer Service they did their part, anything else I wanted done would be my responsibility financially because of the mileage. I didn't not think recalls had a mileage limit but they are insistent after 150k they were no longer responsible. Cavalier Ford marked the recall as complete but it wasn't. My case number with Ford is CAS44213098 transmission fluid leaking recall was not on there but I am leaking that as well. I don't want something for free, I just want them to correct their defects

As you are driving the vehicle will randomly down shift into first gear, causing the vehicle to potentially slam into first while in mid drive almost as if you hit a wall, this causes the vehicle to lose any information on the dash including speedometer. There are no warning lamps on prior to incident. Took it to a dealer to have it diagnosed and diagnosis was recorded as Transmission speed sensor which was common for recalls recently. Uncertain, how or when it started happening there was an elderly couple who owned the vehicle before me. This incident occurs frequently but not all the time.

The 2013 Ford F-150 had an issue with the transmission randomly shifting while driving. Ford issues a Customer Satisfaction Program, 19B05 to attempt to address through reprogramming. It was later followed up by a Safety Recall 19S19 and supplemental 19S07 to expand the recall. It appears the issue was never resolved and later Ford issue another supplement #3 in their customer satisfaction program 19N01 to actually replace a component called the Transmission Molded Leadframe assembly and also extended the coverage. My truck had several instances of random down shifting while driving so upon taking to the dealer it was found to be part of this Customer Satisfaction Program. The part has been on order for about 9 months and no resolution in sight. Ford has said that since this is part of the Customer Satisfaction Program, and not a Recall, that they are not obligated to provide any other assistance. As a daily driver I cannot count on the truck to be safely driven but have little option. I've had numerous instances of random shifting at highway speeds leading to temporary and sudden issues with control of this 6,000lb vehicle. On some occasions after stopping at an intersection and then accelerating into traffic it will not have shifted into 1st so while accelerating into traffic I'm left not able to move quickly with other drivers taking evasive action to avoid hitting me. I don't know how to elevate this as a priority with Ford to secure parts and get these trucks fixed in a timely manner or offer other options for loan vehicles before someone gets hurt.

Truck would, from a stop, not shift into gear and it would also without warning from a stop not go into gear. If placed into park and then in gear it work. Last incident, driving on interstate felt like transmission disengaged and orange wrench appeared on my screen. Took foot off of accelerator and all my gauges disappeared. No speed, fuel level etc. drove into the next town, pulled into parking lot, shut off engine, restarted engine and all gauges came back up. On hands free phone call with my dealership service manager as soon as it happened and kept them on phone until I restarted engine and started driving. No more incidents and made it home. Vehicle has been repaired, but I never received a notification regarding this issue. and it was not an inexpensive repair.

Complaint: Speedometer is not working, loss of function of speedometer while driving and Downshifting of the gear. The instrumental cluster showed a maintenance warning while driving in which will cause the speedometer to stop working. When trying to drive the vehicle on a stop position, there is a delay on the acceleration. Vehicle feels like it's on 2nd or 3rd gear. This may lead to loss of control on vehicle. I brought my vehicle to Ford service, I had them do a diagnose on my vehicle. The only issue they're able to find is the cooling system leak and rotor/brake pad replacement in which I ended up costing $3700. Knowing this would resolve the main issue. They had my truck for a month and after 24 hours of receiving my vehicle the main issue showed up and can't use it again due to safety issue. I believe the issue of my vehicle is part of 2013 Ford F-150 recall, but my vehicle has not received a recall. I believe this is the issue my vehicle experiencing below. recall no: 19V433000 recall no: 19V075000 How come Ford Service did not know about my vehicle issue when it is the 2013 Ford F150 Recall Problem. But they let me spend big bucks for nothing and still not to be able to use my vehicle until now.
