Driving on hwy at 70 mph using adaptive cruise control all of a sudden it applied the brakes. Few days later it did again on hwy nothing around me. Stopped using it after second time. Lucky no one was behind me. Then after I got to my disination the next morning stater my truck first I noticed no power to the front driver & passanger windows then no A/C / climate control, no mirror control so started driving it then noticed tire warning light on but wouldn't show the tire pressures looked at tires and looked like they where fine. When leaving store was backing up and almost hit a car my warning sensor didn't go off now I noticed that all of my safety devices on this truck was not working. Now I'm wondering if my airbags are active. Drove back home from Virginia to Tennessee about 6 hr drive very carfuly. Next day straight to Ford dealer and is still there as I'm writing this. Very unsafe to drive. Did notice on the adaptive cruise control issue there was a recall on the 2015 models but didn't see any on the 2016.

Horn not working. I purchased a brand new 2016 Ford F-150 in 2016. I am the first and only owner and I noticed 2 days ago my horn all of a sudden stopped working when I press on the horn but it will sound when I hit my alarm button on my key fob. The vehicle has not been in any accidents, I checked all the fuses and they are working and have a current running through them. After some research (within google and F-150 forums) a lot of people are having issues with this and having to replace their clock springs.

I drove my truck to my farm without incident. After being parked for a while, my son-in-law got in to drive to a work area and immediately reported the brake pedal went to the floor. We checked the brake fluid level and it was almost empty, even though I had recently had the level checked as "full" at a change of oil and filter. It took two large bottles of brake fluid (at over $8 each, just to get it home (about 50 miles). I had to pump the brakes during this trip to get braking action and drive very carefully and slowly. The day before this happened I had towed a single axle trailer with an agricultural disc on it. Had this quick loss of brakes occurred at that time, it likely would have resulted in serious injury, property damage, and even death. The shop where I took it replaced the master cylinder, the power booster, which had filled with fluid, and an O2 sensor, which had been damaged. The total cost was $1194.34. Since all the parts were replaced with new Ford brand parts, there is a likelihood that it will happen again. This is a real safety issue and merits a recall, as well as reimbursement to me of my expenses.

It's happened 9 or 10 times in two years... try to start it - nothing...try again-still completely dead. Sit back wondering what I'm going to do, and the truck will start all by itself while I'm not touching anything. Have spoken to numerous mechanics none have heard of it before.

I have a 2016 F150 with issues similar to NHTSA complaint id# 10127407. The problems are not intermittent, the part has failed & is not available from Ford at this time. The air conditioning quits completely & you cannot run the fan at all. You cannot roll down any windows in the vehicle & the vehicle gets well over 90 degrees inside while driving. This is a huge safety issue because when this doesn't work it also disables the airbags of the vehicle, cross traffic alert as well as tire pressure monitor failure along with other safety features. The seats no longer retract or move forward when the vehicle is started/shutoff. The key fob intermittently will not lock the doors of the vehicle & the alert on the truck says key not found. With the warm temperatures and no way to roll down the windows or turn on the ac or a blower fan makes this vehicle extremely unsafe to operate.

Truck is idling down to about 250 RPM and periodically stalling out after driving and coming to a stop at a light or stop sign. Also stalls in reverse. Ford cannot resolve the issue. Started with 22604 miles. Now has 26346 miles and am still having the same issue. I have taken it to the Ford dealer where I purchased it 3 times. Still has not been resolved

Started to hear a clicking/tapping noise coming from the engine while at idle. Have learned that it is the etb (electronic throttle body). I physically saw the etb making the noise I am concerned about. Took to Ford for diagnosis and because the truck is not giving an error code, there is nothing they will do. Found that there are several hundred complaints against Ford and their etb. It is a safety issue that I am trying to prevent.

Truck was in park with the engine running. Nobody was in the truck which was on a slight incline. It was standing still in the back yard while I was trying to get the garage door closed. It took off going through a chainlink fence, across a neighbors yard, and came to rest on a bank on the other side of the neighbors yard. The fence and brush caused several heavy scratches to the truck.

On 5 separate occasions the dash display stopped working. Radio/cd player/backup camera would not work at all. The main concern is backing up at night in a crowded parking lot with the back of my truck loaded for a 9 day camping trip. I can not see out any of the camper shell windows at all. I could hit a parked vehicle or a pedestrian. This has happened 5 separate times.

In a few degrees below freezing locks and latches will not work!! most often you will be forced to bungee doors together to drive. In my case it is a screw and it is almost always the driver's door. It has been fixed with the latest Ford repairs and still continues to fail. Many many of us are sufferring without a fix from Ford!!

The right passenger door will not shut, also the left passenger door will not open. I have contacted the dealer from where I purchased the vehicle and was told there is a back order on parts with no known time frame when they will receive the parts. Recall number is 17S33/ NHTSA recall 17V-652. The vehicle is not safe to operate due to this condition.

Since I purchased my truck there has been issues with the backup camera. The dealer replaced the apim and had to keep the vehicle for three weeks to trace a bad wire. It has been 10 months and the camera has failed again. I feel as if this is a wider spread issue. Ford even expanded the warranty for the previous years apims.

On January 22 2018 at approximately 11:00 P.M., I started my truck with the remote start, which activates the rear window defroster, as needed. On my 20 mile ride home from work, mostly freeway driving, I heard crackling noises, and I was watching in the rear view mirror, my entire rear window shattering, except for the center power sliding piece. When I got home, pieces of glass fell inside the cab and bed when I closed the door. Ford is aware of this issue, but they refuse to repair it. In the meantime, I am forced to pay $500 deductible for my insurance to repair it, even though I had purchased the extended warranty when I bought it brand new. It has approximately 15,000 miles on it now. Researching this problem, I believe it is a defect in the glass, causing it to shatter when the defroster warms up the glass.
