Danger!! potential extreme injury or death possible. These issues must be addressed by Ford. Vehicle speed control:engine accelerating on its own when in reverse. Braking: Would slow down but will accelerate when brake was released upon reverse. Upon reversing up an uphill local side street driveway, braking, and releasing the brake, the vehicle accelerated in less than one second at a tremendous speed. When the vehicle was put into drive from reverse, the engine created a high-pitched whining sound. Had there been the children in the driveway, they would have been killed. There is also a whining sound from the engine when it is running. Changing gear from reverse to drive: Engine creates a high-pitched whining sound reverse up a slight hill: Reversing up a small hill immensely accelerates on its own. We notified the dealership when we received the vehicle, but it was not corrected.

While driving on a city street the accelerator on my Ford F-150 began to accelerate on its own. I pressed the brake pedal to slow down but it only accelerated at a higher rate. I was able to put the shifter in neutral and pull over to a safe area, with the vehicle in neutral and my foot on the brake pedal the truck would continue to accelerate. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership because I was afraid to drive it, now the service department is saying that they cannot duplicate the problem when there obviously is a problem.

Truck was moving straight forward at 10mph on a Suburban street, brake pedal depressed all the way to the floor, vehicle did not stop. No brake fluid leak apparent, reservoir for brake fluid is slightly over full. Suspect faulty master cylinder.

Decelerating to a stop, I applied brakes with normal pressure but truck did not slow down. Brake pedal felt soft and I had to stand on it very hard to stop truck. After coming to a stop and releasing brake pedal, brake pedal and brake operation felt normal afterwards. Road conditions were dry asphalt.

My truck has 19600 miles on it, since last 2 days the brake pedal when pressed would go all the way to the floor while driving, doesn't matter city or higway. I have dropped to the dealership yesterday, they are still trying to figure out the problem
