What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request" This is the CAM PHASER in the engine that is making noise and most likely will fail. How was your safety or the safety of others put at ris ? The engine can stall out at any given moment with the risk of stalling out in traffic. or even a train track. We use this truck for traveling and it only had 69,000 on it. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? On inspection from our mechanic when we had the oil changed on 7/21/2023 we pointed out our truck made noise when starting the truck.. Later he comfirmed that it was an issue with the cam phaser and maybe our ford was part of that recall. The truck has an apt at the dealership on 8-7-2023 to fix the issue and it will be confirmed my diagnostic software and then fixed for the tune of over $2000 Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No just the Mechanic Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear" Having loud rattle and clunk when starting approximate on 7/1/2023 while on vacation with the truck. this is CAS44109058W6Z9G4
