2018 Ford F150 XLT twin turbo 4wd. Since the day I bought it. Nothing but problems with lurching jerking at stops. Clunking when truck is on AND OFF. We have video of it. Pushing gas pedal and truck hesitates before it jumps forward always the transmission been to every ford dealer in our area they refuse to help or say they DONT HEAR the knocking or feel lurching all lies we have had at least 3 close calls avoiding accidents and 2 days ago the truck would not stop the transmission skipped and I hit a deer. My bull bar absorbed most of the impact. The 10 speed transmission is the issue and no one wants to hear it but ford wants $10,000 for a new transmission after I paid $48000 for this truck and it-??s been in the shop half the time.

Vehicle is shuddering as acceleration starts, took to dealership before warranty ended and they dismissed concerns. Issue has intermittently persisted since then with no resolution available from dealership. The acceleration issues causes the vehicle to slow down and halt before jerking into motion again. Additionally the engine eco boost is occasionally shutting the vehicle off in traffic, if the brake is released too quickly with the boost feature on the engine shuts off, you have to put it back in park and then start the engine again. I've almost been rear ended twice when a light turns green and my engine turns off unexpectedly.

The car has very bad cam phasers that are a manufacturing issue from ford. This is causing a lot of damage to the engine and also it has put me in very dangerous situations because of the huge decrease in power when I am exiting into a highway or changing lanes. I have spoke to ford and they did not want to help me especially when they have had multiple recalls for this in the past and even extended recalls. Please help me with this, because it's a big issue and it's a manufacturing problem from ford.

While driving i was coming to a stop approaching a traffic circle. I had to yield the car already in the circle as i was stopping the truck made a clunk and lunged forward while i was breaking forcing me to enter the circle before it was safe to do so. I almost collided with the approaching vehicle with a child in the car. Another instance the vehicle between shifting gears randomly lost power as if it shifted into neutral, then a loud clunk as it finally found the gear when it did the vehicle lunged forward. Another instance with the vehicle in park i started the engine, after the starter finished and the engine turned over there was a loud clunk and the vehicle lunged forward in park enough that the tires made a noise and could have hit a parked car in-front of me. The dealership said it is a known issues with the 10R80 transmission and will cost me $8,000 to $10,000 to repair. This transmission has always clunked and missed gears since i bought it new in 2018 and i have had it looked at multiple times, but the dealerships always said its -??normal-?? Ford knows this is an issues and has not issued a recall and it is very dangerous.

I own a 2018 Ford F-150 with 56,000 miles, and I have been experiencing serious and unpredictable transmission issues. These problems first started around 48,000 miles, but at the time, I assumed it was normal behavior. However, the issues have progressively worsened, and by 55,000 miles, a wrench warning light started appearing intermittently. Symptoms: -??While driving at highway speeds, the transmission unexpectedly drops from 10th gear to 1st gear, causing a sudden and severe deceleration. -??The gear shifts are jerky, unpredictable, and rough, making it difficult to maintain control of the vehicle. -??The wrench warning light appears occasionally but disappears quickly, making diagnosis difficult. -??No diagnostic trouble codes (D DTCs) are stored or retrieved when scanned at multiple repair shops. -??The issue happens intermittently, making it challenging to replicate on demand. -??Started noticing issues at 48k miles, but they became significantly worse around 50k miles when the wrench light began appearing. -??I called Ford to reset the radio/computer software, after hearing it might help, but it did not resolve the issue. -??The unpredictable transmission behavior causes severe anxiety while driving, as I never know when it will happen again. Attempts to Fix: -??I have taken my truck to multiple repair shops and Ford dealerships, but since no codes are present, they have been unable to diagnose or fix the issue. -??Mechanics have checked for transmission recalls or software updates, but no clear solution has been provided. -??I contacted Ford for a radio/computer software reset, hoping it might help, but this did not fix the problem. Safety Concerns: -??The abrupt downshifting poses a serious safety hazard to myself and other drivers on the road, especially at high speeds. -??There is an increased risk of accidents due to sudden deceleration and loss of control. -??The problem occurs without warning, making it difficult to predict or prevent.

1. The Transmission 2. -While driving at highway speeds the vehicle slipped into neutral multiple times, other vehicles have swerved to avoid our sudden slow down. -Has lurched forward from stop when foot was removed from brake at intersection with pedestrian present. -Stalled completely when auto stop start engaged and impeded cross traffic at night 3. Yes the problem has been reproduced and confirmed multiple times by independent service center. 4. No, the transmission has not been inspected by FORD or anyone else 5. There were no warning lamps, or messages. The only symptom at first was rough shifting. Transmission no longer knows what gear to be in. For example it will move to tenth at 25mph or drop to first gear at 50mph. Adaptive learning computer has been reset multiple times. A warning light started coming on intermittently ("wrench" symbol) after changing fluid. Each time computer has been reset a different code pops up associated with the wrench light coming on.

There was something wrong with the Ford 10 speed transmission on my truck - 2018 Ford F 150. The transmission would jerk hard at completely random times. The biggest safety issue was that at times it wouldn't "go" when you pushed on the gas causing a delay that was particularly problematic when you were pulling into traffic. There needs to be a recall. If you google F150 10 speed transmission problems, there have been a myriad of them. • 90,000 miles
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle accelerated at excessive speeds. The contact aggressively depressed the brake pedal and shifted into neutral to decelerate and slow the vehicle to a stop. The failure was intermittent and occurred at various speeds. The contact-??s son inspected the vehicle and determined that a fuse related to the cruise control might be defective. The contact-??s son had replaced the fuses. While driving approximately 10 MPH and coming to a stop sign, the contact decided to come closer to the stop sign however, the vehicle accelerated past the stop sign. The contact attempted to depress the brake pedal several times however, the vehicle failed to stop until approximately a block away from the stop sign. There was a certified mechanic nearby who inspected the vehicle but found no cause for the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the cruise control fuse had failed. The dealer replaced the fuse. The contact was uncomfortable with the fuse being in the vehicle, so the dealer removed the fuse to deactivate the cruise control. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a complaint was filed. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.

2018 Ford F150 2.7 with 133,000 miles. Not shifting properly and jerking into gears. Shifted down into first from 10th while traveling down the interstate. Stalled in the middle of the road while making a turn from a stop sign and then jerked I to gear and started driving again. Went to the dealership back in May where I bought it from and they advised me that it-??s the transmission and this is a known problem with all 2018 F150 transmissions. Advised me the only fix was to replace it. Now in November it has gotten worse and when I try to get above 70 mph quickly (passing a vehicle on the interstate), it starts jerking hard repeatedly. Also, it automatically will kick my cruise control off while going down the highway. Controls in the steering wheel stop working properly.

I on a trip [XXX] round trip is about 332 miles. I had approximately 42 miles to go and the truck speed was reduced and it started to jerk. This is the second trip over two hundred miles and the same thing happened. have extended warranty insurance but I can-??t get any one to accept it here in Cleveland, Mississippi. I really think this truck is a lemon. I purchased it last year in November and it-??s been giving me problems ever since then. I don-??t have money to just give away on something that is not worth it. I even went to the dealer where I bought the truck and asked him if I could swap out for another truck and he told me he couldn-??t do it. When I checked on car fax it just shows that this truck had 126,000miles on it. But at the dealership it showed 149,000miles.So it only showed history for 126,000 and less. I don-??t know the history of the 23,000 miles that-??s not accounted for. I want my money back or a reliable truck that has no problems with it. To whom it may concern, As a proud owner of a 2018 Ford F-150 with the 5.0 V8 and 10-speed transmission, I have recently been facing significant shifting issues with my truck. These issues occur at various times during my ride, making my daily commute a stressful experience. The transmission shifting slams into gear and downshifts from 8 or 9 to first gear, disrupting the smooth operation of my vehicle. Despite consulting multiple mechanics, I-??m still unsure whether it's a computer issue or if the transmission needs to be replaced. I checked the NTHSA and learned that this vehicle had a recall for this issue. I trust in Ford's commitment to quality and safety. I need to know how I can get a remedy for this inconvenience. I don-??t feel it's my responsibility to spend upwards of $8k for a new transmission when Ford has a recall on this truck. Please advise on the necessary steps as soon as possible. This issue is causing me significant inconvenience. I don't feel safe, and I would appreciate your help in this manner.
