The front dashboard warped up in front and on the passenger side over the airbag. It was reported to the dealership, Ford redd mccombs. Ford company approved to replace the dash. It was replaced after 5 months waiting. And no uncertainty of safety of dashboard over the passenger airbag, possibly deplying or exploding. The second dash replacement has warped in the same areas and more. The areas over the passenger air bag, as well as the driver side on front dashboard. The company as well as the dealership have no explanation as to why the dashboards are warping. I have seen and photographed many other trucks with same make and model and the suffer the same problem. If a person is not looking for the problem, they will never see it until it gets worse and the warrenty has expired and they are probably thinking its the Texas heat and sun. But this is a true vehicle hazard and will continue to be addressed further if you all don't wish to help or guide me into the right direction. Iys a flaw in the design and its in all F150 trucks from 2017 to 2020. I have seen the flaw in the 2020 model at the car show that was held in san antonio tx, back in November,2019.

When starting my F-150 there's was a loud pop I suddenly turned off the vehicle then turned it on again but it did not make any odd noises. When pulling out of the parking lot acceleration was acting up O heard another pop and my vehicle suddenly went into limp mode slowing my vehicle way down causing me to nearly get rear ended. From there I managed to coast into a parking lot and called a tow truck. When the tow truck dropped off the vehicle the guy at the dealership said that I was acting fine but they would keep it a couple days but since it isn't acting up there wasn't much they could do. The truck is a year old and only has 5.300 miles.

Pulled into parking spot. Put truck in park. Left vehicle and went into store. Truck rolled backward and crashed into another vehicle. When we looked in the truck, it was still in park. Took to Ford and they inspected it and said everything was fine and that the pin was working. A friend had same thing happen. I believe there is a problem with the truck and had they inspected it on the spot, they may have discovered a problem. Since we drove truck after accident, it probably looked fine when they inspected it. There have been similar problems with F-150 but mine was not part of a recall.

This is a well known issue. When it is cold the doors may or may not latch. You have to drive your vehicle holding the door. I had to take it to a dealer several times holding my door closed going down the freeway.

The problem is with the latch on the tailgate. The tailgate opens randomly while driving. This can occur when the tailgate is unlocked and also when it is locked. It is more likely to occur when going over a bump. I use my vehicle for work purposed and so I haul equipment and supplies. I have spoken with bill pierre Ford in seattle wa about the problem and have been told that they are aware of the problem but that Ford has not provided a fix and so they are not able to fix it. The danger and liability is significant and will cause accidents and deaths if it is not addressed immediately. I am putting a date below, but please be aware that this has occurred repeatedly. While I am currently using a bungee cords to make sure that nothing falls out (the cord prevents the gate from falling open) when the tailgate randomly releases, it would certainly put the lives of others at risk on daily basis.

Parked in a gas station parking spot. I put the truck into park and left the vehicle on for the family. I took one of my children into the store. My wife opens her passenger door and stepped out to pick up a little mess. While in park the truck moved forward a bit and started to roll back. Somehow the truck was in park or showed it was in park (it didnt move when I let off the brake prior to getting out or as I got out of the truck). After struggling from outside of the passenger side and the truck rolling back about 50 feet, my wife managed to get the shifter into park (again). The passenger door hit a concrete post and opened the door beyond what the hinges allow

Downstairs too hard been at the dealership today is the second time they constantly act like there's nothing wrong with the vehicle av to reset it once before still having major problems with that new transmission. So basically in inner-city driving is somebody was to jump in front of the vehicle with downshift quickly giving driver or any passengers whiplash stop the vehicle not a very safe or practical build can cause accidents and give major problems if anybody has bad backs or necks was not disclosed at time of sale of a hard shifting transmissions

There is an abnormal engine "rattle" noise when decelerating (letting off throttle) between 1000 and 2000 rpms. This has been a frequent complaint from 2018 Ford F-150 owners with V8 5.0L engines. Responses from F150 owners on various forums all indicate various explanations from Ford as to the cause from normal engine characteristics, replacing cam phasers, replacing solenoids, and buybacks. A tsb was released in November 2018 with no known cases on any related forums of the tsb correcting the abnormal engine rattle noise. I have hjad the tsb performed and the noise was continued to be present. The concern from myself and other owners is the unknown long term effects on the engine performance and/or life and a continued lack of response from Ford as to the cause or release of any fixes. The issue has been present since 1 week after purchasing the truck on November 21, 2018.

The key fob for our new F150 has broken already. It was only 2 months old and the metal part that holds the key ring came off. This shouldn't have happened after only 2 months. The service department says it is normal wear and tear and will not repair or replace. If the fob falls off the key ring because it was not glues on properly, you can lose your key. Worse, someone could find it, press the lock or panic button to find your car and then steal your car. I think it is a safety issue and compromises the security of the car. It also leaves you without a key if it falls off. If you do manage to see it happen, then you are stuck with a broken fob after owning your new car for only 2 months. One other note on the wear and tear. It was sold new but had about 2000 miles already on it. So, the wear and tear could have occurred while the dealer had possession.

Door latch, the driver side door was not closing when I first got the truck. This is not a new issue. This was supposed to have been fixed last April at the factory, but obviously it was not. I have had the truck looked at 3 times for this issue. It may be fixed now, maybe not. How can Ford not have recalls and a fix for this and still be allowed to sell these vehicles? I have had to drive my truck to the dealership going down the freeway holding the door shut. I have been in contact with Ford Motor Company, they don't seem to care of whole lot. Last week it was in the shop more than I had the vehicle.

When vehicle is in motion all safety warning indicators lights come which causes vehicle to lose power. And will not allow vehicle to accelerate. As a result, the vehicle is susceptible to getting hit which has been the case. In addition, this also causes the auto stop feature to not work which allows the vehicle to shut off when stopped at traffic lights and stop signs. This occurs two to three daily.

Two complaints: 1- door locks still freezing after being at the dealer for a recall to fix them. Fix did not work. 2- poor design on both side door mirrors. The small wide angle inset mirrors are set in too deep and angled improperly, that when adjusting the larger mirrors the view of the insets negates their purpose and causes a blind side area at a critical in the left passing lane witch is missed by both mirrors. I, ve tried repositioning them to alleviate this problem to no avail. This is a safety problem. Several close call accidents have been experienced.( mirrors were clean and unobstructed). Also they have virtually no overhang on the top and therefore are susceptible to snow ice and rain. Suggest increasing the top overhang area somewhat. The above is meant to be helpful observations to aid Ford design and customer satisfaction and safety. Thank you for this opportunity to inform you of these matters. I have a 2018 Ford F-150. My doors will not latch closed at all when it freezes outside after it has rained or moisture was in the air (frost). I have had to drive to work holding it closed, not latched, multiple times. I have taken it to a Ford dealership and the say there is nothing they can do each time. There are no recalls out for this model year. I had a 2016 F-150 that had the same issue and a recall was issued for it. Ford calmed they fixed the problem. This is very dangerous and if I get in a wreck it could be fatal. I do not feel safe driving this truck anymore and there is nothing I can do to fix it. I have multiple videos of this issue as well.
