Wrench light came on. Skipped shifts and over revs. Truck has been at Ford service for a month. Parts ordered. Tore into and ordered more parts. Truck has 69,000 miles so it is 9,000 miles outside of powertrain warranty. Estimated repair cost is $4,800. FORD customer service offered nothing beside we're sorry. Truck has not shifted right since day one. Ford did a transmission reprogram flash at about 10,000 which helped a little. Cross lane traffic turns had to be planned and timed in case the transmission decided to think about shifting gears while coasting.

Gears are slipping and fluttering between gears 3, 4, & 5. Research leads me to a TSB-2250 released by Ford in 8/2023, and it has caused me to lose speed/control when accelerating through traffic intersections and getting up to speed on the high way.

Transmission slips and shifts erratic. Sometimes it hesitates and lacks power. It's dangerous due to being unpredictable in operation. Vehicle has been in dealership and "found to be normal." I was blown off. It has always shifted jerking and shifting erratic. They said "nothing could be done about it and this is the way it is.. " Now I find out there is a service bulletin that addresses the issue but Ford will NOT FIX IT because I am 3 DAYS OUT OF WARRANTY. Still in mileage at 44k. This is a safety issue and a recall should be issued due to the massive number affected drivers and Ford's absolute unwillingness to own their defect!

65,000 miles towing a motorcycle trailer and the wrench light comes on. Transmission would sometimes slam shift, other times slip out of gear completely. It also shifted from 3-8, slipped out of gear and over revved 1500-2000 rpms. Ford says CDF drum and valve body needs replacement. Trans rebuild. $4,500 covered by personal extended warranty, co pay $787. Parts on backorder. No get well date. Dealer says has a backlog of transmission repairs. Internet says a known issue. On waiting list for loaner car. Possible 2-3 months without truck. Truck is at dealership.

Five weeks ago, my transmission service light came on. I drove to Phil Long Ford, by nursing the vehicle along, and left it to be repaired. I was told today that the 10 speed transmission is a common problem, and they are backed up for repairs for many of these same problems. I have had to wait for parts due the frequent occurrence of this issue, and lack of trained personnel to handle it. I was also told today that it would be two more weeks before I can get back the vehicle. If this is so common that the dealers are having issued repairing, there should be a quality recall of these vehicles, to repair or replace or compensate the owners.

I purchased a 2019 F150 in 2023 to date the car has roughly 60,000miles on it. Recently I noticed it "slipping" when driving. I brought it to the dealer where the car was purchased to be looked at. Upon dropping the car off, a service tech said this was a common issue in this type of vehicle. Ford called a few days later, the vehicle needs a full transmission rebuild and they are not willing to help cover the cost even though they sold the vehicle with a faulty transmission and without disclosing a material fact about the vehicle. The transmission is the system that failed/is failing and it is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle got stuck in 4th gear which prevented it from properly shifting and maintaining an appropriate speed on an interstate. This put and will put myself and every vehicle around me in danger.

The first item to malfunction was the transmission gear indicator on the dash, that started about a year after I bought the truck and would intermittently work. I had multiple oil changes in the truck at various dealers and brought it up but nothing ever came up from it since it was intermittent. Then in 2023 a warning popped up that the blind spot indicators were malfunctioning. I was planning to bring it in to be looked at but did not have time to with work and family. Then at 95,000 miles the transmission failed while towing a loaded trailer and began to shift erratically, sending the engine to extremely dangerous RPM levels while trying to downshift. Every gear began to clunk into place with a severe jerking motion and then eventually could only be operated with any sort of safety at low speeds. There were initially NO warning lamps that popped up for the transmission failure either. It went out at night 2.5hours away from my home so I spent 15minutes limping it to a gas station at low very low speeds. Only moving it around a bit the next day did it show any warning and it just said to see the dealer.

Transmission has hard shifting at various speeds even if you let go of gas. HARD & Delayed shift from park to reverse sometimes park to drive! There-??s multiple TSB from ford stating the reason and cause for this! This is a manufacture defect that people have to pay out of pocket for if we aren-??t under manufacturing warranty! I think they knew before hand but neglected it they should be the one covering the payment for getting transmission fixed not the owner when it was a manufacturer problem

Truck was in Ford dealer 4 times over 9 months for fix to the transmission. Each time the chief complaint was a vehicle that would allow the transmission to stick between gears so acceleration would cease. It would also be put in reverse but the vehicle would not register that it was in reverse, hence not backing up. Vehicle not going forward or backward is a safety issue. Problem was reproduced by dealer each time. Ford Corporate was involved in trying to fix. No lights appeared on dash during any experience. Nothing done to the vehicle by Kernersville Ford or Ford Corporate worked to relieve the issues. Cam phasers, powertrain control module. While at a remote site, my engine started making a rattle when first started. Later at the remote site, the truck would not start until weather conditions improved. Upon returning home, I took the truck to my local Ford dealership where it was confirmed the cam phasers needed replacing and was done. I later found a Ford Customer Satisfaction Program notice [XXX], [XXX] and [XXX] I had received in October 2021. I had acted on that notice with the Ford Dealership in College Station, TX at the time and they said I did not need to do anything because I was not experiencing the problem at the time. The cam phasers are a known problem with this vehicle and should be recalled. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I purchased a 2019 Ford F-150 new from Muzi Ford in Needham Ma. Starting in the winter of 2021 with less than 35,000 miles the truck was sometimes slow in shifting through the gears, ( it is an automatic transmission ) it seemed as though it was slipping on ice. I assumed it was due to cold weather. The same situation occurred occasionally the following winter and seemed worse the colder it was. Several months ago it began to happen more frequently, and now it it has become constant and much worse. The truck stalls, revs up, slips into neutral, then suddenly lunges forward creating a very unpredictable and dangerous situation. It is now nearly impossible to operate this vehicle safely. I took the truck to Madden Ford in Norwood Ma on [XXX] of this year to have it looked at. I was told, much to my surprise that the transmission is beyond repair and would need to be replaced. They also told me that it was no longer covered under the warranty as the truck now has just over 60,000 miles. The cost quoted to replace the transmission is $ 9,877 plus tax. I was also told at the dealership that this is a common problem with this model and year and that it was too bad that I had not brought the truck in sooner as it would have been replaced at no cost to me. I have subsequently discovered that indeed this has been and continues to be an ongoing problem, and that Ford Motor Company knew of these transmission problems and yet continued to manufacture and sell them to unknowing customers. This has been very upsetting and disturbing. I do not have the nearly ten thousand dollars required to replace this and do not own another vehicle. I called the Ford customer service center on February the first and have had no response. I have also sent a letter to them explaining the situation and the dangerous operating condition of this vehicle and also have not had a response. I hope that someone will help with this serious problem before there is any fatal results. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION A
