Death Wobble Car-??s front end started shaking uncontrollably. The brakes automatically slammed on and our travel trailer jackknifed on I-65. When the movement stopped we were facing the opposite direction of traffic. Luckily the trucks behind us were able to stop before hitting us. Our trailer is totaled. The car had $11,000 worth of damage.

After the vehicle has been parked overnight. I reverse out of my driveway, stop, shift to drive, drive about.75 miles to a stop sign. Turn left and go about 1 mile to another stop sign, as the truck is close to stopping for this second stop sign, the engine turns off and I lose power steering. The dash shows this message: "Auto StartStop Shift to P, then Restart Engine". I have to push on the brakes, shift the truck to park, and then crank the key to restart the truck. This happens whether the auto start/stop is enabled or disabled. It has happened several times at the exact same stop sign right before I come to a complete stop. It is happening more frequently.

I have a 2019 Ford F150 XLT. The vehicle has the technology package which allows you to start /stop the vehicle with an app in your phone. I assume the motor has bluetooth attached to it. The problem is that when your driving the vehicle will just shut down. Once this happens you have to stop the vehicle, put it in park, and restart the engine. There is usually not a problem restarting the engine. However, this creates a immense safety issue when your on the interstate and your vehicle stops. Another issue is that it doesnt happen all the time. I would estimate 3-6 times a month. And there are no codes illuminated to identify the problem.

The transmission seems to slip or not engage at all on several occasions. Today it stalled and left me with no throttle in middle of traffic then quickly engaged in gear. There is constant and irratic shifting unless throttle is aggressively pushed seems this issue will eventually cause car accident for me or others experiencing same issues. I was almost rear ended as a result of issue.

2019 Ford F-150 was turned on using Remote Start feature. I allowed the truck to run for about 10 minutes before getting into the driver seat. When I closed my Driver Side Door, the Rear Windshield shattered. I immediately exited the vehicle and took photos of the shattered glass. Broken glass fell into my back seat and even into the bed of the truck. Thankfully no one was sitting in the back passenger seats. My local Ford Dealership, where I am leasing said vehicle from, advised me to bring the truck in so they could have a look at it. I advised them that the back windshield was falling apart and glass was continuing to fall into the back seat and into the outside bed/trunk. A service advisor told me they can-??t do anything unless I bring it in. I sent them the photos I took and clarified to them that the window will surely break apart more if I drive it. The dealership said that-??s fine, just bring it in. I wrapped the back windshield, best as I could, with garbage bags. As to not allow for the falling glass to come into the vehicle and strike me or others while driving. When I arrived at my Local Ford Dealership, a Service Advisor told me that I was not the first case of this occurring. The Service Advisor told me she has seen quite a few Ford F-150-??s come in with owners complaining about spontaneous shattering of the back windshield. I asked her what is the cause of such an unusual occurrence. The Service Advisor told me it had to do with the rear window defroster. My rear window defroster was turned on and active at the time and moment the back window shattered. The remote start feature for the truck, always turns the rear defroster on. A quick online search, will also prove that Ford has been neglecting this issue and has not been willing to help their customers fix their back windshields. This is absolutely unacceptable and an enormous safety hazard. Not only for passengers within the vehicle but motorist on roadways, who happen to be driving behind the truck.

My dad was driving my F150 heading southbound on hwy 49 in richland, Ms. At the wilson rd intersection the car in front of my dad slammed on brakes for the yellow light, my dad hit his brakes, and the 18 wheeler behind my dad rear ended him, slamming him into the car in front of him and pushed both cars through the intersection about 50 feet. The impact was strong enough to break the seat. None of the airbags deployed.

2019 Ford F150, 5.0 engine. While stopped at red light on a thoroughfare message alerted asking to place vehicle in park and restart the engine. Stepped on accelerator with no result, had to follow directions above to continue driving. Auto start/stop logo appeared on dash during incident. Did not have time to take a photo of message as the light turned green and I had to complete the process quickly.

Ford recalls 600,000-plus vehicles to fix backup cameras included the 2020 F-150 but not the 2019 F-150. My vehicle is experiencing the same issues. In fact the cameras have been replaced by the dealer 7 times and they are still not working. I feel this should be covered under the same recall as the 2020S

Today while driving home from work, a wrench-shaped indicator light on the dashboard turned on. Following this, the display notified me that the front sensor and collision avoidance were no longer available. Afterwards, the truck began to shudder and jerk around while idling at the stoplight. The rate at which the truck could accelerate began to decrease every time I would accelerate from a complete stop (a stoplight for example). Shifts also seemed very rough. Whenever the transmission shifted, it felt like sitting in a chair on a concrete floor while somebody dropped dumbbells on the ground.

I was using cruise control on a flat highway and my 2019 Ford F150 stalled. Almost everything shut off (couldn't accelerate, main display screen went dark, dashboard went dark, and after a few seconds my headlights shut off as well). Luckily I safely pulled off the highway where the only thing that remained "on" was a message saying something about transmission not being in park. After coming to a complete stop, removing the keys, the vehicle started up again like nothing happened. I have approximately 25K miles on this vehicle. A similar incident occurred in a parking lot when I had 300 miles on it but the error message was something different. That time it took 10 minutes to get the car up and running. The issue is infrequent and impossible to replicate but having a brand new car shut off for no reason is dangerous and aggrevating.

Truck was approximately one year old with 13,500 miles and when I would start the truck, with the A/C on, you would get a strong smell of vinegar coming from the vents. The smell would go away after a couple seconds. While cleaning the truck I realized the front passenger side floor mat was wet as well. Brought the truck to the dealership multiple times. They originally worked on the A/C and after several visits they had to change the carpet of the truck due to the dampness. Same issues continued and I was told they found a leaky door seal, which would explain the dampness on the floor, but not the smell from the vents. Dealership returned the car, with the intake not put together correctly (pictures attached), and 48 hours later the floor was wet again and the smell was still there when starting the truck. Issues have not been resolved at this time time.

While driving, the engine light turned on. When I approached a stoplight, the engine began to shudder and stall. As soon as I placed the engine in park, the rpms increased and the engine felt like it was not going to stall. It still had some shaking going on. At the next traffic light, I stayed in drive and the engine died. I was able to restart the car and get home. During this time I was using no other features in the truck. Nothing was charging, the air conditioning was off, the lights were off, and the radio was off. I called the dealership I purchased the vehicle from, and they would not even look at it. I called several other Ford dealerships in the nearby area, and they would not look at it citing either covid reasons or no technicians on hand.

I was driving my truck on the interstate with adaptive cruise control turned on. The truck began to automatically slow as I approached a vehicle ahead of me. As I changed lanes to pass, the system saw there was nothing ahead of me, then downshifted from 10th gear to 5th gear with a very loud "klunk". since I had the accelerator depressed to override the adaptive cruise as I changed lanes, the truck immediately and abruptly accelerated. I was thrown back in my seat and momentarily lost full control of the steering wheel. I estimate I was going 65-70 mph and the downshift to 5th gear and quick acceleration was extremely unnerving. I categorize this complaint as a powertrain issue because I was overriding the adaptive cruise at the time and this issue was caused by the transmission downshift and the engine power together. The date I provided is an estimated date.

I just bought my truck and have honked my horn two times. Both times the perforated seal for the airbag has split open. I got it repaired the first time and now I have an appointment to get it repaired a second time. This is a defect, you should be able to apply pressure to honk a horn. Especially if someone pulls out in front of you and you have to abruptly apply the brakes at the same time as honking. This creates a forward force that makes you press harder as well. This is a safety issue as well, as I'm not sure about the airbag now, if it will work at all, or if it will deploy for no reason and injure me. Both times I was driving, but only the first time did I have to hit the brakes hard, the second time was a normal honk with light to medium pressure.

There is a cover made of plastic under the transmission that is held on by 4 small bolts with big washers. Driving in strong winds at highway speeds the back 2 plastic holders broke. This approximate 34 inches across plastic is hanging down. Seems to me it is guarding some vital parts under there. Sure warranty will replace it with another piece of plastic which will surely fail in time. Then it will be my expense. When I called the service department he knew right away what I was talking about, and had them on hand. Should be made out of a thicker metal, even aluminum.
