I pulled up to a stop sign that is in front of a highway. As soon as I hit the brakes the truck shut off, the power steering and the power brakes quit working and I was almost hit by oncoming traffic.

On two occasions (4/18 and 6/10) the vehicle shut off while driving. A dashboard message said -€œput vehicle in park and restart engine-€. The dealer service center could not find the cause. I contacted Ford Motor Company and was given a case number and the vehicle was checked again at the dealer service center in conjunction with Ford Motor Company via phone. No cause was found. I was told it most likely was a one time fluke. After the second event on 6/10 I drove immediately to the service center. I took a picture of the dashboard message. Again, no cause could be found. I reported this to the Ford Customer Experience Specialist. I asked the specialist for the email address of someone with higher authority or in their safety department and was told if I did not want to continue with Ford -€œsomeone higher would be the Better Business Bureau-€. Both instances of the truck shutting off have been on residential streets while driving about 20 MPH. I have repeatedly voiced my fear that the vehicle would shut off while on the highway or thruway and the result could be catastrophic.

My vehicle would not exit out of a drive or moving until I stopped the vehicle and disconnected the neg battery cable. The vehicle stayed in a state of high rpms. There were no warning signs and no warnings displayed on the truck display. This is the second "speeding out of control" situation in two days. I fear for the safety of myself, my family, and everyone around me. I don't know what triggers the onset of this condition. I exited from state highway 5 onto exit 104 (hwy 101) and took a left on mud bay road. I was traveling 30-35 mph when I began to slow down to almost a complete stop to make the right turn into the swimming facility. My truck would not slow down. I pushed he brakes very hard to prevent the truck from speeding uncontrollably. I pulled in to a parking spot as best as I could. The truck rpms were maxed. I own an automatic drive. With my foot on the brake, I shifted from D to N. there was a loud sound of gears during the shift. The truck rpms were still maxed out. I turned off the truck and placed the truck in P. I also enabled the parking brake. I started the truck and the truck rpms were still maxed out. I kept the truck running for an additional 30 seconds. My wife and bystanders indicated that there was a burning smell emanating from the truck. I turned off the truck and the truck displayed an "overheating" warning. I allowed the truck to cool down and disconnected the neg battery cable for 15 min. After I reconnected the neg cable, the truck reset to normal running conditions. I have owned the truck for three months and the truck is still under factory warranty. The dealership that I bought it from does not acknowledge that 2020 F-150S have had problems with the transmission/engine. I will take my truck there tomorrow (13may2021) for them to view the error codes.

My truck accelerated twice without touching the gas pedal. I was stopped at a yield sign waiting for traffic to pass. I lifted my foot off the brake, my truck immediately accelerated. I pressed thr brake to slow down and the truck engine/transmission rpms did not decrease until the truck fully stopped. I intentionally stopped about 10 meters behind the next vehicle in a left turn lane. The light turned green and I lifted my foot off the brake. The truck accelerated by itself too fast. I had to hit the brakes hard again. After I pressed the brakes to slow down again, the engine/transmission reset to normal operation. I did not experience thr problem on the remaining drive home. I was exiting off of a highway 5 to exit on to a city street. This acceleration would have caused an accident if there were cars in front of my truck. Consumer stated he went to the dealer and was told "speeding out of control" was cause by gas peadl sticking to 3rd party floor mat. Consumer removed the floor mat.

Ford cameras recall: 20C19 and 20B39. I received notification of the recall during normal maintenance on March 1, 2021, not via Ford headquarters. Apparently, the recall was on 09/23/20. Two different Ford dealerships (in palm desert area) have said one of the cameras is on backorder with no clear indication when it would be received for installation. Therefore, from the date of the recall until now (approximately 6-months), I have not received the corrected parts or installation.

Undercab matting used for aero and protection of transmission / exposed underwiring is easily saturated by moisture from normal driving conditions. Causing excessive wear and tear to vehicle components. The matting on our vehicle has already torn on one side (at 15K mi), with service suggesting to "zip tie" the parts back together or remove the panel and expose the transmission and wiring to additional wear and tear. I have seen many other similar F150S with the same issue. This is a large underbody panel and can pose significant risk to motorists or cyclists behind if it were to fail and detach from the vehicle. Attached image is of drivers side looking up/under towards the front of the vehicle.

While driving on a highway at 65mph I heard an explosion. After pulling over I discovered that the back glass had shattered. I was not passing a vehicle and nothing else was around to cause it. Contacted the dealership where purchased and they will not replace because "blown out" glass is not covered by the warranty. This truck has 3,700 miles on it. My insurance will cover the cost but that isn't the point. This is dangerous! the inside pressure shattered the whole glass and actually blew a hole through on one side. The glass was falling out on the bed of the truck. I have noticed since purchasing the truck that the doors are hard to close (you have to almost slam them) unless you leave a window down a little.

The contact rented a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated while the engine was on, the contact placed the vehicle in park, and the vehicle independently rolled while the gear was in park. The vehicle rolled over the contacts daughter head. The contact took his daughter to the hospital. The contacts daughter head required staples. The contact stated on a second occasion when the contacts wife drove the vehicle and placed the gear in park with the engine on the vehicle rolled, the driver was able to get back into vehicle and stop the vehicle from rolling. The contact took the vehicle to a mechanic to have a diagnostic performed which located the failure codes at the transmission, the gear shifter and the cable. The vehicle was not repaired. A police report was not filed. The contact returned the vehicle to enterprise. The failure mileage was 29,260.

The backup camera on the vehicle does not work properly. It will pixelize; give lines; or just show a blank screen with a contact dealership. This began happening approximately two weeks after purchasing the vehicle new. After contacting the dealership, they stated that they are having problems with all their 2020 model year vehicles with backup cameras and there is a back order. That was approximately two months ago.

My truck is 5 months old and has been to the dealer 3 times to have the front camera fixed. They finally replaced the front camera and it still does not work. The truck has a front camera side cameras and a rear camera. Thousands of people have complained about different cameras not working and Ford just ignores it or replaced the faulty camera with another seemingly faulty camera. Numerous reports and numerous vehicles have been to Ford with the same issue, the cameras failing, front side and back up cameras. On a truck that cost as much as they do something as simple as a camera to help people back up and judge the distance pulling into parking spots is pathetic. Many people who don't drive trucks often rely on these cameras as a safety feature when backing up or pulling into spots to avoid hitting another car. The vehicle has to be moving 5mph or slower for the cameras to work and parked of moving they do not work.

Back-up camera malfunctioning, works less than 50% of the time, goes out sometimes when backing up. I am told this is a known issue on some Ford vehicles, however they do not have a solution. Informed replacement back-up camera on back order, may have same issue. This has been occurring since I bought the truck, over 2 months. I believe this is a broad issue with Ford auto's right now and the company is dragging their feet on what may be a costly solution.

Rear view camera not functioning properly. Issue has been ongoing for nearly a month, now. Often shows very garbled view when truck is shifted into reverse. Occasionally displays a message "camera is unavailable. Please contact your dealership." I followed up with the dealership (southgate Ford, southgate, mi) and they informed me they cannot service this, as Ford has not issued them a fix. They are completely unable to resolve the problem, and refused any further remediation. They recommended I call Ford's customer support at 800-392-3673, which no longer appears to be functional, and did not allow me to talk to anyone or even leave a message.

Ford tonneau truck bed cover came apart at 75 mph on I-10 in la. Rear third section weighing 10-20 pounds completely separated, luckily stayed on the truck bed. Fortunately it did not go airborne and strike the vehicle behind me. Cover was flipped in one section up, no securement is available at this position and directions are not visible. Vehicle (tonneau cover) only had 5,500 miles on it.
