For months have been having two issues with my 2021 F150 Powerboost with the CO2 sensors as well as an issue with the Exhaust Heat Exchanger Bypass Valve A. Which after my bumper to bumper warranty expired now needs replaced even though the same issues have been throwing a CEL for months

The contact also stated the vehicle was experiencing excessive oil consumption. The contact stated that he had been performing an oil change every 2,500 miles. The contact stated that there was blue smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. An unknown warning light was illuminated. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

The contact made various local dealers aware of the failure; however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 19,448.

I bought the vehicle new. The first time I took it to get an oil change, the mechanic came out to show me that the bell housing bolts were falling out. We tightened them up. I was having issues with the smell of breaks burning so I took it to a ford dealership but told them to check the bolts as well. I told them it would shake some when approaching 80 mph. They didn't find anything wrong. And nothing was said about the shaking. At 51k miles, my family was on vacation. My nephew noticed the front passenger wheel was about to blow out when we had stopped. Putting on the spare I started recording the change because the lug nuts were extremely loose. The tires have never been rotated or changed these issues were from the factory. I reached out to Ford, they told me to take it back to a shop which I have scheduled. It's pointless, this truck is a death trap and Ford doesn't seem to care at all about the level of safety this was for me and my family.

My vehicle has the 3.5L powerboost motor and it has been leaking coolant from the egr cooler since I bought the truck in 01/2022. This has caused my vehicle to overheat and has left me stranded on busy highways.

At 1200 miles the engine shook while driving and a puff of white smoke came out the tailpipe. The dealership claimed it was a faulty sparkplug. 150 miles later the low oil pressure light came on while driving at 75mph. After the local dealership offering nothing to resolve the problem over many weeks, another dealership found oil was passing through the heads.

My truck is 2021 f150 powerboot. I got message -€œ stop safely now-€ and unable to start the engine. This is happened twice. The first time is about 20K miles, the second times is happened on 8/13/2022 at 55k miles. I brought my car to dealership for first time and service manager told me they waited on ford company for instruction. But no one call me for recall or advice. Please help us. Thank you

Seal - Valve - Ford (KL3Z-9U465-A) I have the same engine that is failing in all of the new Ford Broncos - Ford's 2.7L V6 2nd Generation, however, I have this engine in an F-150. My vehicle has been sitting at the dealership for over a month, diagnosed with a faulty valve (same issue that is in the broncos) Seal - Valve - Ford (KL3Z-9U465-A) Something needs to be done about this - Ford has offered me no loaner or rental vehicle AND I am still paying car payments while it is sitting up there at Ford! Help

Complete engine failure at 2,300 miles. The engine is a 2.7 V6 which has recently been documented as having potential engine problems per Motor Trend. The truck just stopped running with no warning.

The contact then heard a scraping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact was able to safely exit the highway. The vehicle was driven back to the residence with no further issues. On another occasion, while stopped in a parking lot, the check engine and power train warning lights illuminated. The contact-€™s daughter exited the vehicle and the vehicle lost motive power. The vehicle was restarted and driven back to the residence. The vehicle was then taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed. A multipoint inspection was performed and the contact was informed that the waste gate actuator needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact requested a buy back which was declined. The approximate failure mileage was 3,032.

My brand new F150 2021 had a powertrain malfunction with power totally reduced. I had no ability to accelerate. I had to glide over to the side of the road. I restarted the car. It reset, i went to accelerate and again i had an error code and my car froze. I was able to restart again and drive over to my Ford dealership i purchased it from at 15 miles per hour. The problem was reproduced once and confirmed by the dealer. The dealer has contacted Ford and was told they have never seen that error code for a F150. The GM of Ford here in Montana told me if they cant reproduce the problem again, i can have the truck back. This truck is 3 weeks old. I am terrified.

The contact also stated that there was a water leak that was leaking over the body control module in the vehicle, causing mold to grown under the hood of the vehicle as well as the cabin of the vehicle. I purchased the truck early 2021. After about 6500 miles, upon starting the vehicle a warning message to the effect of "Oil Level Low, Add Oil" appeared. After manually checking my oil dipstick, I found the oil level to be below the safe oil line. I promptly took the truck to the Ford Dealership in which I purchased it. The service technician informed me of one other case he has personally experienced where the PCV system was defective, allowing an excessive amount of oil to be consumed. Ford was unable to receive my vehicle for service for 1-2 weeks due to a full service schedule. It was at this point I attempted to go to a 3rd party vendor for an oil change. That vendor checked my oil level and confirmed the reading was below the safe oil line. They advised I return to Ford. Concern for my safety and the continued safe operation of the vehicle, I requested the 3rd party vendor to add a quart of oil. In the end, it took 2 quarts of oil to return the oil level to a safe operating zone. I then promptly returned to Ford and spoke to the service department manager. They will accomplish and oil change and return the vehicle to me to perform an oil consumption test over the course of approximately 1,000-1,500 miles, before returning to Ford for further evaluation.
