The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-250. While the vehicle was engaged in park, it made an abnormal noise and rolled backwards out of the driveway. The vehicle rolled over a ditch, which caused the vehicle to move forward and crash into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. During the failure, the contact's husband was standing next to the vehicle with the door open. When the vehicle rolled back, it knocked him over; injuries were sustained. The vehicle was towed to marshal mize Ford (5348 Tennessee hwy 153, hixson, tn 37343, (423) 875-2023), but the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,300.
