Driving down interstate and hit a slight variation in roadway and caused the truck to go into what is known as the death wobble. I had my 7 in half month pregnant wife and 4 year old child in the truck when it happened. I nearly lost control and overturned the truck into two tractor trailers. I managed to hold onto the steering with wheel with my life and drive off the interstate into the grass median at interstate speeds, forcing the truck to come to a stop. The truck is a serious safety issue and nearly cost me my families lives.

If you go over 60 mph and hit a bump or sometimes don't even have to hit a bump the whole truck and steering wheel wobbles out of control. Obviously they know about it as there is a nick name "the death wobble" for it. I took my truck in and now they want me to pay close to $800 to repair it when it is clearly a manufacturing defect that Ford has known about and has tried to conceal. There is a class action lawsuit started in California. Ford should be made to recall there F250 and F350's to do the repairs at no cost to the customer. We paid a lot of money for this vehicle. They say its ok just don't drive over 60 mph. It is very scary when it happens

Was driving down hwy about 70 mph when I hit a bump and the pickup began to shake so bad I thought I was going to roll it. It is was as known as the death wobble. Every time I hit a bump it happens. Picked it up and went about 20 miles and it happened again. Ford dealership is saying they fixed it. But it is not!!! I printed off what I found on internet to fix it and a list of parts but they did not do any of what the paper said.

While driving on the interstate running 68 mph I crossed a straight bridge and encountered a severe vibration/loss of control coming from my front suspension. After hitting a slight bump at the beginning of the bridge the vibration was so severe and would not stop until I slowed the truck to 20mph. This seems to be a common condition that some people refer to as the 'death wobble'. vehicle has 30K miles and was purchased new by me and has never been wrecked. While traveling around 45 to 50 mph on a two lane road going around a slight curve to the left the truck hit a rough patch in the road and the front wheels started oscillating up and down causing me to lose any control of the steering wheel. Starting at about 20,000 miles my F250 platinum Super Duty started doing an extreme 'death wobble' while driving 70 miles an hour on the freeway. Dealer said it was a steering stabilizer. Several times at highway speeds have caused the truck to change directions. The most current event occurred yesterday (9-25-2019) and required me to slow the vehicle to under 10mph to recover. The shaking was violent enough to open the glove box. I have had 5 of these occurrence so far in ownership of this vehicle which was purchased new 14 months ago. The vehicle is completely oem including wheels and tires. Nothing has been added. I cant use the vehicle as intended (towing) as I'm concerned of loosing control of the vehicle under those circumstances.

I have experienced violent shaking and extreme vibration resonating from the front wheels and steering components of my Ford F250 Super Duty truck while driving. I understand this to be referred to as the 'death wobble' and for very good reason. I have 37 years of law enforcement experience, and I can assure you this issue left unchecked will be the root cause many traffic deaths past, present and future. It's occurred five times with me to date within 18 months all five causing total loss of steering control, and the last two causing me to cross center divide of the roadway and into oncoming traffic. I narrowly avoided a head on collision with an 18 wheeler in one of those incidents. I've had the vehicle checked by dealerships and independent shops. I've spent thousands of dollars on repairs and parts. Ford needs to offer a solution now before any else is put in harms way.. or dies.
