Only 16,000 miles on this truck. In the last week there have been 4 incidents. While traveling on the highway at speeds 60-75mph I experienced a severe shaking after hitting a slight defect in the road. The last time this happened(tonight), the shaking was so violent that my tires started to screech as the truck shifted violently left to right. I was nearly rear ended by a tractor trailer because I had to slam on the brakes and slow down so the shaking would stop. I often have my 2 year old daughter in the truck with me and I am so fortunate she wasnt with me tonight. This is a well known problem with these trucks called "the death wobble." People with these same exact problems can be found all over the web. This is a major design flaw and safety concern. Not to mention after shaking so violently this has to put tremendous strain on other components of the truck causing premature wear. Something needs to be done before someone looses their life, if no one has already.

Upon hitting a seam such as a road/bridge seam at highway speeds driving in a straight line the steering wheel shook violently. Once I slowed down to approximately 35 miles per hour the shaking stopped. All of my lug nuts are tight. This has happened before but with light shaking upon hitting any bump or seam and then stops. This time it was difficult to control the vehicle until I slowed

Previously I experienced a significant loss of control and violent shaking while operating my vehicle at highway speeds including a back and forth movement of the steering wheel which were only resolved after reducing speed by more than 50 mph. A local dealership completed a service bulletin however a couple days later a lighter vibration occurred while driving, the dealership advised on a phone call that it was probably just rough road and that the issue was fixed. Today the issue occurred again, the steering wheel moved more than 20 degrees and the vehicle wasn't able to stay in the lane of travel, the vehicle had to be brought to almost a complete stop before it became controllable again.

My 2019 Ford F250 with 16K miles experienced a major steering shaking I.e. "death wobble" after hitting a small transition on a bridge approach at 62 miles per hour on flat pavement. This occurred three times while traveling down the highway on my way home. I inspected the steering components and they appear to be severely worn out, especially the track bar and tie rod bearings/bushings.

In highway or expressway driving with speed limits of 55 or more, after driving over a road crack, bridge expansion joint, or a small bump the truck shakes violently and looses ability to steer. Any change in speed worsens it as well as braking. Condition continues until truck reduces speed to around 30mph.

While driving at 75 mph on interstate 20 in the dfw area my truck hit a bump on a bridge and started shaking violently. I had to come to a complete stop for this to subside. Have since learned that this is called the death wobble and is common in my type vehicle. Have not received a recall notice on this. I have 25K miles on truck and this the first time this has happened. 75 mph on a busy interstate is a terrible place for this to happen and I feel extremely lucky to have I survived this situation.

Driving on interstate 80 outside of reno, Nevada at approximately 72 mph while turning slightly left I encountered a small bump in the road from a bridge to asphalt transition. My steering wheel began to shake violently and I had no control of truck. I could not straighten the wheel as there was a semi truck in the right lane beside me. I had to put on my emergency flashers and slow the truck to under 20 mph to regain control of the truck. Nearly causing a major accident. I thought I was going to die. Please recall this item as Ford refuses to acknowledge this extremely dangerous flaw in their vehicles. I am afraid to operate this vehicle.

While traveling on the interstate at 73 mph the truck began a violent shaking that nearly ripped the steering wheel from my grasp. The shaking ceased after I slowed the vehicle to 40 mph. I slowed down in the center lane of 3 because I was unable to do more than keep the vehicle in the lane.

I was traveling straight at 70 mph on the highway. The uneven road surface caused the truck to begin to rapidly and harshly shake uncontrollably. I had to slow almost to a stop to allow the truck to stop shaking. I slowed down and switched lanes. A few miles ahead at 60 mph the same problem occurred. This is not safe at all.

The death wobble occurs at speed 60 mph or over. If one tiny bump is hit while on a highway, the truck shakes uncontrollably until the speeds drops to around 40 mph. It seems to be happing more frequently.

Front end wobbled violently after driving over a series of small bump in the road, wobble didn't not subside until vehicle slowed to an almost complete stop.incident happened on rt 452 in chichester pa.upon doing research on this problem it is apparently a common issue with this vehicle. Has specifically to do with the alignment and steering mechanism and stabilizers.

I experienced the "death wobble" for the first time while driving at around 70 mph on the interstate. My wife and son were riding in the vehicle with me. The truck shook violently. Braking seemed to worsen the shaking. Once the vehicle slowed to around 45 mph, the shaking ceased. A few minutes later, I increased my speed again to around 70 mph, and then the violent shaking occurred again. Both events occurred as I encountered an overpass. It scared all of us in the vehicle. We no longer feel confident when driving the truck. My wife said she will never drive the truck again.

I was driving down the turnpike. This is a 4 lane divided highway like an interstate. I hit a crack leading to an overpass as I was traveling at about 70 mph. The truck immediately began to vibrate violently. The steering wheel was vibrating back and forth and up and down and was difficult to hold on to. I braked and pulled the truck to the side of the road. I resumed driving at a reduced speed and everything seemed fine. On my way home the same thing happened as I was driving about 60 mph. I was driving straight, I was not applying the brakes, the weather was in the low 80's and clear skies.

Over that past few weeks I've been experiencing intermitent shaking caused by bumps in the road. It happens above 50mph when hitting inconsistencies in the road. I did some research and it seems this is a known issue refered to as the "death wobble". I havent experience full loss of control but I want this addressed asap. This vehicle is not safe to operate with this issue. Ford needs to fix this before people get killed.
