Riving the car sudenly the car heasites to go on speed like the trans mission is not responding also when you park the car and came back to start the car don't start a few hours later you came back and the car starts, we went to the dealer and they did a diagnosis on the car and told us that the car has a module transmission and clutch problem, we find out days before that the car has a recall in that particular area but the dealer told us the car was in accident and has a rebuilt title and that voids the warranty on the repairs and we have to pay from our pocket I told the technician that we bought the car and we didnd't know that the car has a rebuilt title until this day he told us that we have to pay from our pocket $2,200 for the repairs

I bought this vehicle late January of 2020, I was aware of transmission problems with this model but was assured that those problems were taken care of. Bought the vehicle and after my first trip longer than 1 hour I got an engine light and later a transmission overheating light. When driving the car at 55 miles per hour the car will act like I was flooring the gas pedal and will not do anything when I tried to increase the speed. The Ford dealership said it would cover the issues at first but now they are saying is not part of their warranty. The clutch needs to be replaced and the car is stuck in third gear. It will only start on the second try. The car has 53K miles and bought at 50K miles at 9K dollars.

Vehicle was in motion on busy highway going 70mph when it abruptly decreased in speed. Rpms moved back and forth until I was able to get off the highway. If I were in the fast lane, it is likely someone would have ran into the back of me. Concerns with shudder relating to transmission control and clutch assembly needed replacing.

Vehicle will not shift correctly. Will often stall out while driving and will not engage gears even when sitting in the middle of a busy road. Will not shift into reverse. Shifts hard when it does shift. Basically been doing this off and on since shortly after buying the vehicle. However Ford simply reset the PCM and charges for this. Vehicle continues to fault after this.

I reported this issue when I had my Focus in 2014....it was dismissed. Now, 4 times it was in the dealership and 4 times it wasn't fixed, 4 times I had to pay for a rental for 2 weeks each time, costing me a total of $2,755 in all for nothing to be resolved. I traded the vehicle because it was literally a safety hazzard but no one would designate it that at the time.

I am concerned about the stutter my transmission is having when I take off from a stop sign. I have researched and see that there are recalls on 2014 and higher. Might want to look into the amount of complaints about this issue with the 2013 Ford Focus.

Every time I try to even slightly incline the transmission sputters and shakes and continues until I'm not in any upcline at all. I've taken my car many times to multiple dealerships just to be told it's nothing or it's because your vehicle is a flex so the car thinks it's in manual. It's not a problem. Just drive it and itll be fine. Well 6years have past and it just gets worse each time. I've parted the car and drive it occasionally because when it jerks and doesnt go into gear or acceleration is none existant it's only a matter of time before someone hits me from behind on the hyw. But again Ford has not honored my 100000 warranty when my catilatic converter went out when I only had 80000 miles on it. Found out a year later that it was covered. Ford is horrible on correcting issues that are a safety matter.at this point like a service tech told me it's their word against mine. They have the power so either deal with it or get rid of your car.

My car keeps flashing the multiple warning lights. I can't get it diagnosed because it only flickers on for a second before turning off. It's the ABS light, the traction control light, the brake light and the information light. This only happens while I'm driving, it doesn't matter what speed I'm going. It will also restart the radio. Once I get to my destination, my whole car will turn off as if my battery died. I've taken my battery to be tested and it's fine. When I try to turn on my car, it won't turn on but it will make clicking sounds like it's trying to restart a connection. When my car finally turned on, it said I had transmission issues. This car is terrible, I don't feel safe when I drive it but I still owe money on it and can't afford to pay it off in order to get a new car. I'll never get a car made by Ford again.
