Audible clicking noise when turning corners. Shuddering, sputtering when taking off from red light. Deceleration while driving in town, while driving gears changing without my knowledge, thrusting into gear while moving. Clutch replaced 2017. All of this started happening about 4 months after I bought car from you mentioned dealer, new. So, since 2015, ongoing issues stated above. Ford tells me it's all my imagination.

The Ford Focus recall for the fuel tank deformation is not accurate. The recall letter we received said to maintain at least 1/2 tank of fuel, but my car has shut down multiple times while driving on the highway and at turnarounds despite having a full tank. The solution to this was previously announced for December 2018 and has been postponed until the first quarter of 2019. Ford needs to be further pressured to find a solution now as this poses a major crash risk. In addition to this, I've begun noticing issues with the steering wheel making a noise. Upon taking it to a mechanic, I was told that the steering rack and pinion had to be replaced and that several other owners of the same model had complained about their steering becoming unusable. Ford should issue a recall for this as well.

There was a recall for the fuel purge valve getting stuck and not allowing my car to stay on after turning my car on it will run for 5 to 10 seconds before it stalls due to loss of fuel. I took my car to Ford dealership and they said they did not have the part to replace it, but they took my car in, once I got my car the very same day back. It did it again the next morning. I have tried fuel cleaners to resolve the problem but it still persists, it stalled on me while driving on this past Monday, and now when I try to search for the recall for information it looks like it was taken off from their website. The issue is not fixed and they do not have the part? as a consumer what can we do to fix a defect from manufacturing. My car is a 2015 Ford Focus with 75K miles and there was issues with this car from the start, including the known issue about the dual clutch transmission where it stutters and shakes while trying to change gears and take off from full stop. This car should be consider a lemon car and no one should buy it. This is fraud by Ford and they know it.

I have this error code from a obd-2 code reader from autozone. Dealership didn't give me any feesback on the check engine issue when I had it in for a fuel tank issue. Error code is 'U0109 lost communication with fuel pump control module (fpcm)' the car sat in the driveway all summer long with a full fuel tank of gasoline. The check engine light for that issue came on shortly after I started driving the Ford Focus again. Read more at: Https://www.obd-codes.com/U0109 copyright obd-codes.com

On Thursday evening, 11/22/2018, I was coming to a stop at a light on a city street (speed limit 35) when my car stalled without warning. Moving at most 25 mph when it occurred, the oil and battery lights came on as I slowed. I tried accelerating slightly to diagnose the issue, and nothing happened. I attempted to pull into the left turn lane (mostly out of traffic) but found my power steering was compromised. I turned on my hazards, parked, and turned off the car, waited 5 seconds, and restarted the car with no trouble. I was shaken, but thankfully no damage to the car or injuries to myself or others. 2 weeks prior to the stall, I had my transmission serviced, and I was made aware of Ford manufacturer recall number 18S32 and that my car was one of the affected. When my check engine light came on a week after service, error code P2195 (bank 1/sensor 1 lean) came up, and then went away. I was told it was still safe to drive and continued to do so. I was on my way to my parents' house for thanksgiving with the intent to stay overnight and have my dad work on the car in the morning when the car stalled with a 3/4 full tank of gas, despite Ford's advice that the car should be safe to operate with more than a half tank. My air filter was replaced, and 5 days later the engine light comes on again, same code. I scheduled service with Ford, and they verified that the engine code and the stall are related to the recall.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds, the contact noticed that the fuel gauge fluctuated and the readings were inconclusive. The contact stated that the battery, check engine, and oil warning indicators illuminated. The contact also stated that the vehicle stalled on several occasions since may of 2017. In addition, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of acceleration. Furthermore, upon filling the fuel tank, the engine began to shake/tremble and the vehicle stalled while stationary. The contact restarted the vehicle several times and applied pressure to the accelerator pedal in an attempt to correct the failure. An independent mechanic removed the fuel tank to assess the vehicle, but was unable to diagnose the cause of the failures. Waldorf Ford (2440 crain highway, waldorf, Maryland 20601, (301) 843-2400) was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 18V735000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

Gas gadget (and miles) will read 1/2 tank (200 or so mile) and with no warnings stall (turn off) even once putting gas in vehicle hard to get it started!also air bag light is on (most the time) engine light is on. The rear passenger door has to be "slammed" or closed hard in order to latch. I bought this car as first owner in 2015! very disappointed! I have had this vehicle turn off on me at least 5 times even with my disable son with me, I could have been hit and we could've been hurt or worse!

I think I have a faulty fuel modulator related to the recall of the Bosch fuel pump systems that's affected the 2014 Ford Focus and the 2015 VW's. my car won't start turn over immediately after full refill of gas tank. I've noticed that gas actually spills out under the car after filling up all the way. Ocassionally my car engine will stop entirely in the middle of the road! it's happened twice now when shifting into 1st after being stopped at a light. I took it to the dealership and they confirmed it's the fuel modulator and that it needs to be replaced. This has got to be the same issue as the other recalled units. Thank you!

While attempting to refuel the vehicle at a service station, I noticed gas leaking onto the pavement coming from underniegh the right rear wheel well. As I further investigated the problem I could see gas draining down from the fuel pipe that leads into the gas tank. I didn't want to try and start the vehicle in fear that the gas might reach the hot exhaust system and catch on fire. I had it towed to the nearest Ford dealership who confirmed that the gas fueler pipe had indeed broke and repaired it under warranty.
