Takata recall. I received a letter informing me of the recall.if deployed, the passenger side airbag may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing injury or death. I received this letter in March 2017. I haven't received any other communication about resolving this. I stopped at a local Ford dealership to inquire about ways to resolve and they had no options to offer until parts are available to fix the airbag. They were given no timeframe in which this would happen.

Takata recall. I received mail spring of 2017 that my vehicle was part of the takata recall but to date Ford has been unable to fix the issue behind the recall. The time between when I was notified and now is too long. I am filing a complaint. At this point I'm estimating the date I was notified. I don't have access to the letter.

"takata recall" I received a letter Ford in March 2017 concerning a recall on my car due defective air bags. It clearly states a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. It is even more dangerous for me because I have a heart pace maker. I cannot drive my car because of this condition and I have had to borrow a car whenever I need to go anywhere. I have contacted the Iowa attorney general office and filed a complaint. In response to this complaint they have forwarded this on to Ford Motor Company and I was promised a letter. That was 2 weeks ago. I need a car replacement or the current car to be repaired immediately. Otherwise I will go back to our attorney general and readdress.

Takata recall: This recall was issued in June 2016. It is now August 2017 and we still have not been able to get our vehicle repaired. I am afraid to ride as a passenger in this vehicle because of the uncompleted recall. We have not had an issue yet, but would like to have our vehicle repaired so that we do not have an incident.

Takata recall. I received notification of the safety recall in July 2016 regarding the passenger side airbag in my car. The letter indicated follow-up for replacement of this airbag would be sent from Ford Motor Company once parts are available. I recognize this is a massive recall, but it is now a year later and there has been no further follow-up. Are replacements parts still unavailable? I continue to not allow passengers to ride in my front passenger seat and am concerned for my own safety as well. Any information is appreciated.

Takata recall. It has been over 1 year since the receipt of the recall notice for this vehicle. The NHTSA website says to file a report if the manufacturer has failed to remedy the problem "in a timely manner". how much time must pass before a "not in a timely manner" threshold is reached?
