Takata recall, Ford recall 16S26. I received a letter from the Ford Motor Company on Saturday, 07-23-2016 about safety recall notice 16S26. This notice identified that the frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment. A "ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments stricking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death". I have called san tan Ford, gilbert, AZ 85295 (customer service/[xxx], service mgr. [xxx]) and basically was told that they do not have the new passenger frontal airbag inflator replacement and do not know when they will receive this replacement assembly/part. No answers on a Ford recall that could result in serious injury or death. I called Ford at 1-866-436-7332 and was connected with a Ford rep. In the philippines who gave me the same ridiculous answer as was provided by san tan Ford. Nobody seems to get the basic idea that I am driving a low mileage 2007 Fusion (that I bought new from san tan Ford) that is a "imminent death trap" and won't and/or can't do anything about the recall. Please help me immediately to obtain a free passenger frontal airbag inflator replacement per safety recall notice 16S26. Thanks, [xxx], tel.# [xxx]. information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

The dash on the passenger air bag protruded out several months ago. I can see the airbag in the gap from where the dash has stuck out. With the and humid weather in Tennessee this last weeks, it appears the protrusion is getting worse. I have seen several complaints on this issue. My car is on the recall for the takata inflators issues and Ford needs to have a recall and determine how to correct dash from protruding. I am very very very concerned with any passengers in my car and for myself if the air bag explodes and if no one is injured I am concerned if I can driving the exploding air bag could cause me to have an accident. Please look into this issues. I know Ford did change the dash design in all newer vehicles. Thank you very much for your time. Please look into this dash-airbag issue. My car begin make a loud squeaking noise. (I describe it as if it was a old rust car) when I was driving. It didn't matter if the steering wheel was turning or not. I was told by one mechanic that it was my tire rod ends. ($400 later 3/1/16) my car is still making that sound when it's hot outside. My air bag on the passenger side dash board is buckling. My passenger door makes a lot of noise.( loud vibration sound)

My passenger side dash had begun to bulge. They stated it was O.K. and I did not need to worry about the airbag deploying.they told me that it could not be fixed; and no one recommended how to fix it. The bulge has gotten worse and it looks as if the airbag is going to deploy. My airbag light came on shortly after and I can not pass inspection

My passenger airbag is bowed. It just started recently, in the last few weeks. I called Ford and they said my VIN isn't on the list, but I have all the symptoms of this issue. I was told to go directly to the dealership since it was so unsafe, but the dealership turned me away. Basically I was told the passenger air bag can deploy and shoot shrapnel at passengers. Called Ford and they said for safety reasons I should take it in right away. Ford called the closest dealership and they turned me away because my VIN isn't on the list. The recall is now, however, so it could still be added. In the meantime, I'm driving around in a car that could throw shrapnel at my face and neck at any moment. My VIN needs to be added to this list so I can drive safely. Bob rohrman Ford in schaumburg il turned me away and wouldn't help. They were very rude and had no common sense

Airbag light came on at about 85,000 miles. Occurred after starting up after being parked facing the wind on a very windy day. Took to dealer, needs new rcm module. Was told no airbags would deploy until replaced. Apparently it is very expensive repair for something that concerns safety of the vehicle.
