Takata airbag - I have received multiple notices regarding the takata airbag recall via mail. The notice states to bring car to a local dealer so parts can be replaced. So, I went to my local Ford and I was told that the part that is needed is not available! my question is why send out notices to get vehicles serviced when parts are not readily available? this is a national safety hazard and parts need to be available to the public. So, now I have to wait even longer for parts that may never arrive. This whole situation has been handled poorly and seems you have little regard for public safety and taking a very long time to remedy the problem.

Takata inflators. This is not a complaint about a vehicle malfunction, it is about Ford's failure to address the recall issues. We have received two safety recall notices. 7/16--notification of airbag danger 12/17 notification that parts would be av ailable in spring of 2018 and warning not to allow anyone to sit in the front passenger seat. We called the dealership in may and were told that the replacement parts would not be available in the foreseeable future, so we're stuck with a car that is basically a single person conveyance and consequently essentially unsalable and not repairable. My complaint is that Ford has issued a safety notice and apparently has no obligation to redress the safety issue.

"takata recall" letter first received from Ford Motor Company on July 18, 2016. I have emailed them frequently through October 30, 2017 as to the status of repairing the bag but they tell me they do not a solution to the problem. At some point thereafter I was told tk holdings, Inc., at P. O. box 3004 of monroe, Wisconsin has assumed the responsibility of a suit filed by various persons as well as the responsibility of resolving this problem. I wrote to tk holdings and was told there was nothing they could do other than not let anyone sit in the front riders seat affected by the air bag that needs to be replaced.. I am irritated and disappointed that I cannot obtain any remuneration for my inconvenience but more importantly I want to get this problem resolved. Please help. Thank you.
