"takata recall" I call the 888 number and I go online and there is no one to speak or get my recall resolved and get me a new one for my car. I called the dealer ship I purchase the car from and they are no help at all. I feel anyone who sits in my car is at risk and I would like to recv a new air bag. But noone will help or answer the phone.

Takata recall Ford issued a recall notice (17S01 / NHTSA recall 17V-024) for the passenger airbag inflator in 2008 Ford Fusion. The notice indicates that Ford will send a second letter when parts become available. The recall date was Jan 10, 2017. It's Nov 5, 2017 and according to Ford customer service, they don't even have a timeline for when the parts will become available. It has been almost 11 months; an unacceptable delay to get a potentially deadly part out of people's vehicles. Additionally, the takata bankruptcy notice directs us to get our defective inflators replaced immediately. The resolution I expect from this complaint is for Ford to get their act together and get this done now. Perhaps you can apply the necessary pressure to motivate them.

Takata recall Ford notified me by letter in March of 2017 of recall 17V-024, it has been eight months and parts are still not available. The defective passenger airbag upon inflation has the potential to rupture and severely injure or kill the passenger. This is a safety concern for my and my family.

Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). Takata recall I was given notice by Ford with a recall notice dated July 2016. Tk holdings sent me notice to schedule a replacement in the mail 11-2-2017. I went to yreka, ca. Ford dealership and they will not do it till Ford says to do it. Ford is dragging their feet in my opinion, hoping these older model years will hit the junk yards before they have to replace them. The local dealership says it will be in excess of $1500. To do the job. Is it time to file a lawsuit. [xxx]
