I am currently now experiencing issues with my passenger airbag and it is being treated as this is not a serious issue. "takata recall". safety recall notice 16S26 / NHTSA recall 16V-38. I received a recall notice about the takata recall from Ford Motor Co. More than a year ago (July 2016). I have never heard from Ford since and have questioned my local dealer several times and have been told they have not received the parts. The notice stated that the issue was with the passenger side airbag, so I am concerned about letting anyone ride in that seat. I believe that having to wait more than a year with no response or to have this resolved is unreasonable and a real safety issue for me and my family.

"takata recall". I received a notice from Ford Motor Company in July 2016 concerning the passenger frontal airbag inflator which may rupture in the event of a crash. I understand that Ford will eventually repair this problem but my problem is that the airbag looks like it is getting ready to deploy right now? I have no problem waiting for a solution from Ford but I am concerned that the airbag may deploy at anytime. I keep checking this site for further information but it seems that there is no further information concerning this recall. I would appreciate it if someone could inform me as to the status of this recall before a passenger or even myself gets injured in the meantime.
