Fusion SE 2.5L I4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

Positive battery cable was corroded to the point it was barely connected. I took it to a dealer and had it replaced. About ten days later I'm driving and go to make a turn and it feels like I don't have power steering. Next day as I'm driving the ABS Traction control lights flash along with a warning message, not sure exactly what it said as by the time I would look down it would be gone. Something like service advance trac immediately.

Took it back to the dealer, service manager told me the tech didn't clean the terminals properly when replacing the cable. Service called me a bit later to tell me I needed a new battery. Picked the car up on Wednesday and on Friday as I was driving, the air conditioner fan surged a few times and then went to full blast, as I was turning it felt like I didn't have power steering. Parked the car, shut it off and tried to start it 30 seconds later and it wouldn't start. Let it set for half hour and it started. Drove it several hundred feet and the same warning lights started flashing, while they were still illuminated the brake system warning light came on along with the message to service brakes immediately. Drove it a couple of miles and they all went off. Saturday I went to start the car and it clicked a couple of times and that was it. Didn't even try to turn over.
