The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the ABS warning light was illuminated and the message "Service Advancetrac" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the wheel speed sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer replaced the wheel speed sensor and while attempting to reprogram the ABS module with the new wheel speed sensor, the ABS module failed to recognize the wheel speed sensor. The dealer informed the contact that the ABS module needed to be replaced; however, the part was on back order. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 98,752.

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed however, the brakes failed to respond. Additionally, the contact stated that the brakes, ABS, traction control, and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road and restarted the vehicle, but the failure persisted. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V904000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 160,000.

The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that after she retrieved the vehicle, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the traction control, the tire pressure, the ABS, the service brake warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the brake fluid leaked, the electrical system intermittently malfunctioned and the key fob failed to respond. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

The contact stated that the parking brake was needed to stop the vehicle. The contact also stated that the vehicle was leaking fuel. The contact stated that the fuel leak was evident whenever there was more than half of the fuel in the vehicle. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle overnight, there would be fuel on the ground underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed by the dealer that there was a glitch with his vehicle and there was nothing to be concerned about regarding the fuel pump. The contact stated that the dealer refused to service the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and promised to call back however, the contact had not yet received the call back. The failure mileage was 260,000.
