This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
Once again (2nd time) in a car that is only a little over a year, the battery is totally dead and it has to be jumped to start. We were at a hotel saying good bye to my dad (he is a Toyota man and told me not to get a Ford but I liked the Ford) and getting ready to leave and wouldn't you know it won't start and we have to use his 5 year old Toyota to start my 1 year old Ford. Dealership couldn't find anything wrong except the battery needed to be replaced.

I brought my car in for a repair on a minor dent, went to leave the dealership battery was DEAD. The dealership service department took the battery out and charged it for 30 minutes worked fine until yesterday. At church my son left his phone in the car charging. Went back out to leave car is DEAD! Had it jumped worked fine but then the whole sound system was OUT... no sync prompts, music NOTHING!!! Took it to the dealership of course my three year warranty is up and I didn't buy extended. He tells me electrical is not covered and says lets try a shot in the dark lets take battery out and see if it resets everything... Low and behold IT WORKS!!!!!!! Yay!!!!
Me: Ok Mr. serviceman lets check out the battery why in the world does it keep dying like this?
Him:Ma'am I have no idea your battery is fine.
Ok until the next problem ughhhhh so having buyers remorse right now!!!!!!

Car randomly won't start even with a new fully charged battery. When it does start, the battery drains in 1 to 3 days. To fix the problem I bought a Chevy Silverado.
