The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The check engine warning light and the electronic throttle body control warning light became illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for an inspection, who installed a new relay for the fuel pump and located a failure with the catalytic assembly. The failure was not reported to the manufacturer.
