I bought the car used and the power steering went out by the third day and there was a recall on the power steering and this is very dangerous I have a two year old who is in the car with me as well which is not safe. I have seen many people since 2016 with the same issue I have a it is very pricey to fix. Why is there no recall on the 2010 but it's one for 2011 and up!

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. Contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, another vehicle pulled out in front of the contact causing the contact to slam on his brakes and crash into the other vehicle's driver side door. The contact stated that the driver's front air bag failed to deploy causing the contact to hit the steering wheel with his chest. The contact was transported to the hospital by ambulance as he sustained bruising to the chest and had difficulty breathing. The other vehicle occupant injuries were unknown. A police report was failed. The police towed the vehicle to a tow lot. The vehicle was awaiting inspection by the insurance company. The dealer don hinds Ford (12875 Ford dr. Fishers, in 46038) was contacted and made aware of the issues but no further assistance was offered. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

Replaced recalled airbag will not work per dealer due to defect during recalled airbag installing. New airbag will not deploy during an accident driver door handle can only be opened if window is left down and door handle is pulled from the outside

I took my car to sheehy Ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. Upon picking the car up after it was "fixed", there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. These lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. The dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at 30 mph, the power steering and the traction control failed causing the vehicle to crash into a ditch. The contact crashed into a pole coming to a stop and the air bags did not deploy. The contact stated that the maintenance service track and the service power steering now warning messages illuminated prior to the failure. The police were notified and a report was filed. No medical attention was required at the scene, however, the mother and the contact suffered from back pain after the crash. The vehicle was first towed to a tow yard and later to the contact's home. The vehicle was not destroyed; the vehicle had not been repaired or taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed her that there was a recall on her vehicle NHTSA recall number: 19V001000 (air bags).the failure mileage was 188,000.

I was driving on hwy 23 when all of sudden the dash light came on saying default trac service soon. Then my steering went out && it was like I had no power steering. About 2 weeks prior I had to have tyson rod ends put on inside & out after just having them replaced in April. My airbag light comes on saying passenger airbag. A noise like a rubbing/scraping noise every time I turn the steering wheel that I've had the car looked at several times.

When I started up the car & was going to pull out the light for passenger air bag came on, then I turn my wheel & there is like a grinding sound. I pulled on side of road & had someone come check it. They said same thing I did. I thought it was something rubbing against the tire, but when we looked there was nothing. Then he kept turning the wheel & it sounded more in the steering column. My husband checked underneath the car when I got home & thank goodness he did because the tie rod ends inside & out were so bad that I was lucky to have not of crashed. Still the steering is making that loud grinding, screeching sound. Air bag & trac lights come on occasionally still also. Really feel unsafe driving my car here the last few months. Ive had it parked for the last month & bought just something to get around for now til I can afford to have it fixed or they have a recall on these. Ive seen so many other people with same problems & I also seen they recalled the 2011 for same issues. Why not the 2010"???"

Power steering intermittently fails when I am driving. I have no control over my car when this happens. Passenger side airbag has issued a recall. I live in Washington state and no dealer has the replacement parts I've been waiting for 2 years!!!

I don't own this car but I was seriously thinking about acquiring this car till when I looked up the VIN and it had an old open recall on the airbags that the car company selling it should atleast tell you there is. I realize facebook may not be the best online service to use to buy a vehicle but the dealership should have at the least mentioned the recall and what they should have already done was have it taken in an fixed for the safety of its client its crazy. Please get ahold of the dealership who owns this car and tell them to get the recall taken care off thank you. There are cars that have this recalls that should be taken care of as soon as the obtained them. I've noticed that facebooka car marketplace has alot of cars for sale with open recalls some a couple months old and some over 10 years old please look into this dealership on facebook trying to sell cars with recalls on them an young kid or older lady may not even think about looking up the vins to see if there is an open recall buy the car and then possible die or get severely hurt because these dealerships didn't take car of all recalls that open on car on there lot. I would never ever sell someone a car with an open recall even if it was very minor, so how can these dealerships go unchecked selling open recall cars, here's the VIN [xxx] please for god sake make it to where nobody can sell a car on any website without getting it fixed or explaining there is one and offer to get it fixed before they buy or if they buy get it towed to get the recall fixed. We have received several re-call notices for the takata airbag issue in our 2010 Ford Fusion over the last several years. We have spoken with our local Ford dealership several times also, but our vehicle still has not been serviced. We also just received a letter from the Florida highway safety and motor vehicles and usdot stating that "according to records from Ford, you have not yet responded to this safety recall to have the necessary free recall repairs made." This is not true, as we stated above. We live in Florida which, according to this website, is in zone a, and since our vehicle is a 2010 model, we believe that we should have been high on the priority list for this re-call fix. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this issue.

Takata inflators: My vehicle was not driven for 6 months as part of the recall. I was given a rental while waiting for parts, but since having the recall parts installed my vehicle has started having brake problems. When driving the brake pedal will go all the way down to the floor. It feels like the brakes will not hold pressure. I had the brake pads and rotors changed after it sat for 6 months.

I was driving this car on a city street when the 'service power steering now' light came on. I couldn't turn the wheel so I took it to precision tune and they reset it but told me that they see this make/model of car with the same power steering issue a lot and that if it happened again that I would have to take it to the dealership. That was Monday it is now Thursday and the same 'service power steering' light came on again! I'm told that the entire power steering system has to be replaced for 1800+

Well for one Ford was supppse to have done transmission work on my car two years ago N now my car is doing the same thing. For example it started with when 8N park it rocks back and foward more the a inch in either direction. I seen where there was a recall on the transmission for that very problem but it was never fixed on my car. Second thing is there were a recall on my airbags, Ford had my car for 2 weeks N said they fix the airbag problem but that was a lie. I have plenty of recordings of the passenger airbags off light still coming on. So if U would be so kind and get these problems N recalls taking care of it would be great thanks..

Takata recall. Are car has been recalled for the takata airbag recall. After placing numerous calls and providing every possible piece of information I can not get Ford Motor Company or the dealer to respond to the recall.the dealer is feduke Ford, vestal NY. I have now received another notice New York state dmv also stating the importance of getting the recall done under threat of eminent death and still can not get any response from Ford. Is there anything that can be done?
