The day after we bought our 2010 Ford Fusion we noticed smokey or foggy looking aberrations in the rear window. There were many and covered the entire width of the window. We attempted to clean the window but it did no good. We brought it back to the dealer and they tried to clean it but it did no good. We had to fight with the dealer and Ford warranty for 2 months before they would finally put a new window in. After we brought the car back with the new window installed we noticed that this window was even worse !! It seems that this aberration can only be seen in certain lighting conditions like at sundown so now I have been told by Ford and the dealer that there is nothing more they can do and it is just the way the glass is. I have since seen this same aberration in many other Fusions including every single car sitting on a dealer's lot. It is ugly and should not have ever been put on the market. This is a warning to everyone who is thinking about buying a Fusion. It is unacceptable in a new car. Check out the car windows yourselves but do it near sundown. See my pictures. This is a very abbreviated version of my story. You just would not believe what I have gone through with trying to get satisfaction from Ford. I have been a life long Ford owner but I will never buy another one because of what they have put me through.
