Takata recall. Ford has notified me about the issue through their recall report system for this car model, however, still no repairing or solution to this recall has been provided since this recall has been reported (June 2016 - status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available). My car is running fine now, but at this point and with this airbag recall pending, I'm not sure how safe is driving it.

"takata recall" I had received a recall a long time back. I immediately contacted the dealership who to, D me they did not have the parts to replace the defective airbag. I have contacted the dealer at least five times to inquire and I was told that they still have no replacement available. I asked them what I was suppose to do in the meantime and I was told be careful and do T get in an accident. I asked about a rental in the meantime and was told they are not able to give a rental as it would not be covered as part of a warranty that could not be fixed for some time. I am becoming frustrated and worry about getting into an accident. Not happy that my safety is at risk!

How old does my car have to be as it is a 2011 and we are in 2017? my dealer was also contacted: Galpin Ford www.galpinford.com 15505 roscoe blvd, North hills, ca 91343. They can't do anything unless they receive the part. Further, I have had over 6 recalls on this vehicle since owning this car, yet I cannot sue because I did not purchase this car in California, to which I am a registered voter. I lived in New Jersey when the purchase was made. Please help, thank you.
