Takata recall - Ford dealership has failed to fix this cars airbag. I've made numerous appts that have either been cancelled or forgotten by the dealership due to unavailable parts, or human error. Ive been told the parts were on order, the parts were unavailable, there were far too many recalls and the dealership couldnt mert the demand, and also completely forgotten altogether! dealership was supposed to call us to fix this after failed appointments and never followed through. My car was just updated with a $300 value loss because of it. This car is completely paid off.

There is a grinding/pooping noise from front of vehicle when turning. The recall 15S18 was reprogrammed along recall 16B38 but the noise has continued and has gotten worse. When driving slow and turning to the left and right in a parking lot it is very noticeable the dealership stated the noise was coming from the steering rack.

When trying to open the drivers side door from the inside on my Fusion, the door handle let loose and I could no longer get out of the car. The door handle is apparently broken. I bought the car used and it worked perfectly until last evening. Apparently door handles on different years of Fusion have done the same and Ford replaced them. All of the cars are the exact same interior as mine appears to be on the videos in which this breakage occurred. I had just pulled into the parking lot and had to have my boyfriend open my door to let me out of the car

I can't get out of my Ford Fusion, I've tried the driver's door handle, and it won't open the door, took to Ford dealer, they told me door handle is broken, not under warrantee, I've barely had my car 2 months, tried rolling down driver's window, and the door lock has jammed, twice, causing me a life death situation, where, I was literally trapped in my car for 25 minutes, twice, no phone or water, and passerby's didn't want to get involved, just to help me get my door unjammed. I was sweating profusely, I had to crawl over the shifter and emergency brake just to get to the passenger door to get to safety, and with a lumbar brace on for my 9 compressed discs in my back and 7 in my neck, I was really scared that I would die in my car. It took me 15 minutes to get to the passenger door and in twice ad much pain twisting my back and neck, I was on the verge of heat exhaustion from a hot car in AZ where the outside temps get over 108 degrees in the summertime. I was dripping wet when I finally found a way out of my car. This door handle isn't covered under my extended warrantee, and it should be, for people on low income situations, or have a recall on the door lock and handle situation, because it's a manufactures defect, but, Ford won't admit that they have a serious safety issue with the do it handles breaking and trapping people in their cars. This should be a recall, so Ford can be responsible for their defect and redesign it differently so the door handles don't break, and trap people in their cars. My car is now dangerous to me, I can't get out of it safely without hurting myself, and that's very, very bad. I don't want to die in a hot car in AZ, that's a slow death. Please have this door handle problem recalled, and covered under warrantee's so Ford can fix and pay for their own mechanical problem instead of the low income seniors that need dependable cars.

During summer months with air conditioning running, the cabin of the car fills with heavy exhaust fumes whether the air is recirculated or outside air. Daily commute is less than 10 minutes and traffic is light. I keep my windows closed when air conditioning is on. I haven't noticed this problem in the winter. I am worried about being exposed to dangerous carbon monoxide levels in the car. This occurs every time the car is driven both on the freeway and surface streets.

When driving the vehicle on an incline, or the engine is under loaad, the temperature gague goes up, but as soon as I come out of it, the temperature returns to normal. I have had it tested and it is not actually overheating. Have a new water pump, thermostat, sensor and radiator. Also, the car symbol on the instrument panel is on and all doors and trunk are closed. Had to take it to the dealer, they've determined it is electrical after the "diagnostic", but are still trouble shooting after a week to determine the exact cause.

Purchased a 2012 Fusion sel with 35xxx miles in feb16. During the summer of 2016, the A/C blower began to function intermittently ' manipulation of the wire harness supplying power to the resistor would cause the blower to turn on/off. The blower only ran at one speed (I.e. the resistor was bad). The blower and resistor were replaced. The issue is once again occurring at ~80,000 miles. This is a well-documented complaint (blower pull too much current and fries the resistor) with this vehicle and, oftentimes, Ford dealers are only replacing/repairing the blower and resistor. However, in my experience (and likely many others), the wire harness also needed to be replaced to correct the issue as continuity through the wiring is also affected when this issue first occurs. This is an obvious manufacturing defect that Ford is not addressing. Furthermore, their dealerships/service center personnel are not adequately educated on how to permanently correct this issue (this is evident by the number of complaints that reference the issue recurring after only the blower motor and resistor are replaced). They are charging Fusion owners $500+ to put a temporary band aid on an electrical issue that should be well understood by now.

Went to open my door to get out of my car & out of nowhere the door handle would not work. To get out of my car right now I need to put down the window & reach out to open with outside handle or get out passenger side due to cold temperatures & not being able to put the window down. It's really inconvenient. I have seen where other vehicles have had recalls with similar problems.

The inner driver side door handle broke suddenly when trying to exit the vehicle. The handle made a pop sound and we were unable to get out. Once we had the chance to look at what happened, we noticed that pulling open the handle at the same time as the lock engaged the latch. The vehicle was parked at the time of the handle breaking, and the motor was turned off.
