Driver side front door handle ceased operation. The door will not open from the inside of the vehicle, but will open from the outside. I contacted my local Ford dealership about this and they stated they have replaced many of these, but it is not on a safety recall at this time. The repair cost is approximately $170. I consider this a severe safety issue due to not being able to open the driver's door in the event of an emergency. Vehicle was parked and not moving when this occurred.

The inside door handles break quickly. The drives side door handle has busted 2 times in a year and the passenger side door handle has busted as well. This is a terrible design flaw on Ford's part. I have already fixed the door handle once and now gotta fix them both.

I was traveling down a main street and I heard a beep and power steering assist fault lite up on my dash as well with service advancetrac came on so I pull off the road and into a parking lot and my wheel all the sudden got stiff. I sat there for a few trying to figure out what was wrong and I turned the car off and let it sit for a few mins and turned it back on hoping it would go away well it didn't, so I got it home finally 6 hours later still with all them lights on and the wheel being stiff let it sit over night and everything next day I go back to the car hoping once again it would go away and it didn't.

Went for my yearly inspection and was told that my cars front coil springs were cracked and it wasn't safe for me to drive my car. I feel this is premature failure on a car that has 52,000 miles on it. The only one who has serviced my car since I've owned it is heritage Ford. I have recently traveled long trips with my car too and haven't noticed any problems. Heritage for was unable to fix my vehicle because they didn't have the parts and its labor day weekend meaning it will take longer to get the parts unless they experdited it. (this is the only car I have and own)

Door latch broken. Drivers inside door latch broken so you can not open the door from the inside. Comon problem that goes back to 2006 models. Plastic mechanism fails and door will not open from the inside. Also door will not lock so the vehicle can not be secured. Preventing someone from getting out of the car has to be a safety issue. There is a tsb from 2006 on this problem for all Fusion, milano, and Lincoln mkz models. A recall on all door latches inside the car would be appropriate.

Second time inside driver door handle has broke, can't get out of vehicle unless you roll down electric window and open from outside. Car has to be turned on for this to happen. Otherwise you would have to climb out to passenger side. This could be a real safety hazard in case of emergency. Ford only warrants the handle when fixed by them for two year. Wouldn't you know it 15 months and it breaks again. Here goes another $216 plastic part inside door handle breaks.

The door handle attachment broke inside the door frame. I have been told by many mechanics this is happening alot on Ford Fusion but my VIN number is not included so I have to pay to have it fixed. If it is a Ford Fusion problem them why are not all included.

The front seat passenger and front seat driver door has failed and the door can not opened from the inside of the vehicle. The passenger door opener was repaired one and a half years ago and the driver door is being repaired on July 18, 2017. In the event of an accident, egress from the vehicle is problematic. The window must lowered and the driver must reach outside to open the door from the outside.

"takata recall" I have a vibration coming from the front end at high way speeds. Seems to be the front passenger side. Vibration only occurs during the speeds of 50 to 60 mph. Anything above or below that is fine. I have had new tires, tires rotated, balanced, alignment, and just an over all inspection with no results.

2012 Fusion. Build date 12/11 drivers door would not open after parking at work. Interior handle would not return to normal position. It was stopping about 1/8" from fully retracting. Door would also not lock with electric locks. Had to climb out the passenger side. It would open from the outside though.

Was coming home from work when my steering wheel lock up well at least felt that way just was really hard to steer. I ended up hitting a pole due to the fact that I couldn't really control my car. Also I was never notified about this recall at all and could've probably prevented this incident if I was notified about this recall. Now I have no vehicle to drive so now I'm stuck trying to figure out how I'm going to get my daughter to her appointments and how I'm going to go to work and make money to pay bills due to the fact that my car is now sitting on the garage sitting there

This is a problem with the driver's side door latch. Door latch handle and lock popped out towards steering wheel and door swung open in traffic on 12/31/2016. When door finally latched, it would not lock. Remote cannot actuate lock. Inside door handle and lock still out of position.

My throttle body is giving me issues. It will hesitate and react as if it will stall on occasion when I am on the highway, it will jerk badly. No engine lights appear on my dash, however I was notified by Ford there is a replacement extended warranty, yet that extension does not cover the initial charge from the dealer to check the throttle body out, which is dead wrong of Ford. I believe they should cover any and all charges regarding this the throttle body. In addition my vehicles rack and pinion or pwer steering sueels alot while in driving, ive check fluid levels and they are normal, yet it will make alot of noise.

My adult son was using my vehicle. He parked my vehicle in his driveway and closed the driver's door. When he went to use my vehicle, the door wouldn't open. He had to go to work, so he entered the vehicle through the passenger side. After getting to work the driver's door still wouldn't open so again had to vacate through the passenger side. I made an appointment at the dealership. They kept the vehicle for two days because they could not get the door to open either. They called Ford directly for instructions. Come to find out it was a faulty latch (same reason they are now recalling Ford Fusion from the year 2013-2014 - mine is a 2012). I called the Ford company and they said they will report it and I told them I would do the same. They made me pay the deductible on my extended warranty and I felt since it is a known defect, that I shouldn't have had to pay my deductible of $100. I have a case # from Ford: Cas-10775544-Z653C9

Driving over 65 mph on interstate and car loses power going in to limp mode. Cars start honking at me as I am slowing in front of them and almost cause accident, take to Ford dealership after reading info on recall. They replace throttle body. Happens again driving on interstate so take back and they give me estimate for $892.10 for $100 diagnostic and the rest for vapor canister purge solenoid and vapor cannister. From what I read this will not take care of problem so don't know where to go next. Afraid to drive.
