Takata recall, we contacted our Ford dealer several times about this and they stated they are waing for parts. They have told us this on several occasions. We feel this is a very dangerous recall and should be handled as such.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Hebert's town and country Ford Lincoln (405 industrial dr, minden, la) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. Yet, since January 2017 they have done nothing. And still refuse to repair and/ or replace affected airbag. This should not be an out of pocket expense to vehicle owner. Tk holdings Inc. Civil lawsuit should not affect vehicle owner because airbag defect may cause serious injury and/ or death.

My son is driving this vehicle daily to college and I am worried that the airbag will deploy unexpectedly while he's driving.

I received the safety recall notice 17S01 / NHTSA recall 17V-024 in March 2017. It is now 10/23/17 and I still cannot find a Ford dealership that has the parts to fix the problem. I just received notice that takata is filing bankruptcy and that I should find a dealership to fix it. Unfortunately all Ford dealers in the raleigh area say that they still don't have parts.

Takata recall.....the recall has been in place since January 2017 and no parts have been provided to correct the problem 10 months later. I was hit from behind in August and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was moving when hit from behind when exiting a ramp to turn onto a major road.

Takata recall - Ford has sent letter of recall in February of 2017. They have ordered replacement parts and that is where it stands as of October 20, 2017. Ford hasn't been able to suppaly parts to my Ford dealer in dade city Florida. I have had no vehicle malfunction only waiting to get the recall fixed. It is the air bag on the passenger side only I have been informed.
