I'm left with a $20,000 dollar payment for this car and the company is no help. It put me and my kids lives in jeopardy and put us in a horrible position financially.

The vehicle has been inspected recently by the manufacturer as my shifter bushings also disconnected as part of a separate recall, resulting in a similar situation as the transmission failure. There have been no warnings prior to any of these issues occurring, and at this point recalling individual parts is not sufficient. The transmission and shifter bushing issues alone cost more to repair than the car is worth at this point, and they are extremely dangerous, especially when combined with the other active safety recalls for this same car such as the brakes, door latches, and steering. Almost every aspect of this car is unsafe as manufactured.
