During the month of dec 2024 my car didnt start. I called Triple A to jump start my car to get home. During Christmas break of 2024 i purchased a brand new battery and now a month and two weeks later the battery is completely dead again. Sometimes is hard to get the car up to speed and feels like it struggles to maintain it as well. The electrical system also kicks my radio connection off and on while driving. The first incident happened dec. 21,2023 and the second incident happened Jan. 27,2025.

2019 Ford Fusion. Just stopped running while driving. Everything just quit working. Took to shop they replaced alternator and battery. After driving a month car did exact same thing again. I think this is more than an alternator problem.

This has happened multiple times now. Always happens at high speeds (greater than 45 mph). I will be driving on a highway when I unexpectedly lose the ability to accelerate. First noticed in correlation with the collision detection feature showing on the display as NOT FUNCTIONING. That does not happen anymore, but I still lose the ability to accelerate periodically. Once I can safely remove myself from the flow of traffic and stop/restart my car the issue is resolved. Makes me believe this is electrical/computer origin. The vehicle was taken to the dealership twice where they claim -??cannot duplicate-?? but are willing to replace any item that I will pay for out of pocket. The dealership does not want to honor my extended warranty. The vehicle was purchased new in 2019. Within one year they had to replace half my engine (which they decided to do without warning when I dropped off for an oil change). The vehicle was stolen in 2023 (recovered by me in under 24 hours). Multiple cosmetic issues were repaired by a Ford authorized service team. This issue presented about 1.5 months ago 4+ months after the vehicle was repaired.

I put car into park to use the atm and then could not get it back into gear it gave a lot of different issues system fault error oil pressure errors battery error collision error and I ended up replacing the gear shift bushing which had deteriorated and broke off and that fixed most of issues now car makes loud blaring alarm sound that is not the normal car dinging it's loud and high pitched and acts like my battery is dead but won't start or shows any signs it is being jumped. Like the battery is completely dead won't take or hold charge.

check engine code for anti knock sensor. Dealer unable to fix after 4 attempts and car spending > 30 days in service in less than 6 months. Car sold to dealer and I hope they don't sell to an unsuspecting buyer.

My car in February of 202: got stuck in park they said it was electrical issue, then months later I ended up with a coolant leak that then combusted my engine. New engine in August of 2023 fast forward to November 2023 my car is doing the same thing it stalled in the road with myself and newborn in the car, lost all speed and now it will not go in drive or reverse just like it did in February of 2023. It-??s been in the shop twice and now ongoing it-??s third time and I find this to be a severe issue because if my car is going to keep stalling while driving there is no reason to keep fixing this car. I-??m aware past fusion-??s have been recalled for something of similar problems so it makes me wonder if this should be recalled as well.

Pedestrian detection system malfunction. Sync 3 system APIM unit is going out and needs replacing (only at 58k miles, 10k out of warranty). Passenger front seat heater and climate control failed due to seat heater melting wiring harness.

Not sure what system is causing it but my trunk keeps opening and it-??s done it many while I was driving. I understand a lot of other Ford Fusion owners are having the same problem and I urge you to look into the problem as it can cause accidents and deaths.

My car has had ongoing electrical problems since day one. They have tried various remedies to no avail. Now that it is out of warranty they refuse to cover this ongoing issue

T O whom it may concern, thank you for assisting me during this process. My car I purchased new and I would like to say a few month into owning my car ive had serval incidence where my car would completely shut off while I'm a red light for awhile due to traffics. My car has an eco button where I can turn it off and on so it doesn't 'shut down' when I come to a stop. The reason I'm so upset with this is because 2-3 times it's happened to I've had my toddler with me and in order for me to go (when the car should automatically turn on once I remove my foot from the break), I have to turn off my car and turn it back on and it's happened during traffic and bug interactions. I don't feel safe in my car and most importantly I'm scared a car will hit me from behind do to this issue with my son in the car. I've addressed this issue to Ford and when I take it in they said they can't detect the problem. They've changed the battery thinking it would help hit it didn't. I've given them the opportunity to assist me as much as they can but yet I feel like nothings been done.

The system began failing when the first the alarm doesn't set, then the horn doesn't work but the vehicle does run

Started the car whether manual or by remote start a powertrain malfunction will come on my Ford pass app. Also on the dashboard it will say shift system fault. Once I put the car in drive the service light disappears. The vehicle was in my driveway stationary. On 2 other occasions September 18 2019 and September 25 2019 the car was in my driveway stationary. I started the car manually car would not start (no engine turn over) but car start stop button would be green as if car was running. The dashboard would say full accessory mode active, transmission not in park, shift system malfunction. The car dashboard would say the car was in drive but the turn dial gear would show park. The car gear dial was also locked and would not turn. If I took off the emergency brake the car would roll backwards. Also I could not turn the car off after that. After 40- 60 min the car showed it was going to turn off in 15 min to save power. Once it turned off. The car would start and engine would turn over as if nothing happend. I also have video of both times car would not start. Website will not let me upload videos
