My fusion wont start and i have to let it sit for hours before it will start. I thought it was battery but had that replaced and had whole car checked and the firestone could find no reason why it wasnt starting. The engine light and battery showed up when it doesnt start but sends no error codes. Today i had to tow my car because me and my family pulled over to eat and got back in the car and it didnt start. This is the first time but what made it worse was having my kids in the car stuck in a part of town. I have exhausted every resource to try to figure out this problem but there is nothing. I think the cars ecu is faulty or something because it wont start again but if i wait for hours it will maybe start back up but thats not for sure. Im afraid to take this car on the highway because i think it may die while me and my family are in it and that is a big concern of safety. My car was bought brand new and under 60000 miles. There is no reason this car should be having these kind of problems. This puts alot of strain on my family and military career not saying im more important then anyone else just saying no one should have ot go through this.Yes vehicle is available for inspection if it starts

I was driving down the road, and a wrench symbol came on. Once i cut the car off and drive it the next day the symbol was off. I looked the symbol up online and it stated that it had to due with the powertrain. I made an appointment to the ford dealership here for diagnostic. They just called me and informed me that the vehicle has codes for misfire on start up and a coolant pump issue and that it is leaking into the engine walls. I am very displeased about this issue because I've only had the car for 2 years.

Engine keeps having misfire issues. Taken to gary crossley Ford in April of 2021 and warrantied engine replacement. In March 2022 taken to throuroughbred Ford engine went bad again with antifreeze leaking into the oil, engine replaced again. Here we are in December 2023 and having same issues. And thoroughbred Ford is backed up until March of 2024 and cant fix the engine again until then. So I am paying my car payment and have no car to drive. I bought this car brand new with zero miles and have had nothing but issues with the engine.

My car Transmission started to make a Rattling Noise while leaving a store. While on the highway, far left lane going 65mph, all of a sudden the car slowed rapidly with traffic all around me traveling 65+mph. I had to get over 3 lanes to exit the highway going 25. I was almost hit several times by vehicles going 65+. This could have caused a deadly accident. Luckily I made it to the exit without a collision. The South Belleville Ford dealership inspected the car and said the flexplate was cracked. I found out from Ford that they put out a Customer Satisfaction Program repair for the same flexplate my car is equipped with, covering the cost of repair and a rental vehicle at 100% but my vehicle, even though it was manufactured during the time specified and at the assembly plant specified with the specified transmission and flexplate, it did not qualify for the program because it has a different engine than what they had on file. They offered to cover 40% of repair since my car did have the defective flexplate. This is an extreme safety hazard as it could cause a deadly accident. It's a transmission problem, the engine is irrelevant and shouldn't matter. Ford needs to recall all vehicles equipped with the defective flexplate and not wait until it cracks because when it cracks someone could die. This is not a wait-and-see issue. This is a replace the defective part immediately before someone dies. This also puts other drivers on the road at risk of sudden death if the car in front of them has the defective flexplate and it suddenly cracks while traveling at high speeds and suddenly rapidly decelerates like mine did. The program even states that is what can happen if it cracks, so they know of this extreme safety problem. Ford plants will change what they are making for a couple of months and that is how I ended up with a different engine and my VIN not being reported by the plant as having been manufactured there at that time with that same defective flexplate.

I put car into park to use the atm and then could not get it back into gear it gave a lot of different issues system fault error oil pressure errors battery error collision error and I ended up replacing the gear shift bushing which had deteriorated and broke off and that fixed most of issues now car makes loud blaring alarm sound that is not the normal car dinging it's loud and high pitched and acts like my battery is dead but won't start or shows any signs it is being jumped. Like the battery is completely dead won't take or hold charge.

My car in February of 202: got stuck in park they said it was electrical issue, then months later I ended up with a coolant leak that then combusted my engine. New engine in August of 2023 fast forward to November 2023 my car is doing the same thing it stalled in the road with myself and newborn in the car, lost all speed and now it will not go in drive or reverse just like it did in February of 2023. It-??s been in the shop twice and now ongoing it-??s third time and I find this to be a severe issue because if my car is going to keep stalling while driving there is no reason to keep fixing this car. I-??m aware past fusion-??s have been recalled for something of similar problems so it makes me wonder if this should be recalled as well.

I only have 109,000 miles and I am needing a new engine. They are telling me that the cylinder wall is cracked and something about a blockage. I cannot afford to replace it. They are telling me it-??s a known issue with ford but there-??s no recall and that-??s why they discontinued the ford fusion.

My car started running weird, it would shake when at idle. It did this for about a week before the check engine light came on. I took my car to a mechanic and they determined the head gasket was bad. I took my car to a ford dealership for confirmation of the problem. They confirmed I had a bad head gasket. My safety is put at risk because this can cause engine failure. If my engine failed in the middle of the highway that would be extremely dangerous.
