My check engine light came on and an alert for an "emissions system problem" appeared. The engine made a revving sound when starting the car, and it felt like the vehicle might stall while driving to the mechanic. The local Honda dealership in Mount Kisco, NY was unable to diagnose the problem, but a trusted mechanic identified that the fuel pump under known recall was the issue. He ordered a new part from a different local Honda dealership in Yorktown, NY.

It-??s been nearly a year since the dealership promised to call me as soon as the part arrives. I haven-??t received any updates since then. I attempted to schedule an appointment for a service related to the recalls, but they kept canceling it. According to them, they prioritize cars with symptoms, while my car is still drivable reason why my appointment was cancelled.

Regarding NHTSA Recall Number 23V-858 I received a notice from Honda about the recall in May, 2024. Now, in October, 2024 there has been no news. The dealership, Pensacola Honda, says it is awaiting repair parts. How long does it take to complete a recall repair?

I took my car to be repaired because it was stalling and misfiring while accelerating, and 11 indicator lights were one (check engine, vehicle stability system warning, brake system warning, adaptive cruise control system). Also, my car smelled like radiator fluid was leaking from somewhere. The local Honda dealer-??s service department could not get me an diagnostic appointment for more than 30 day, so I took it to a nearby mechanic shop that I had used before. First, they thought it needed a tune up, so that was done, the indicator lights were reset, and I was in my way. After returning 2 days later (because they weren-??t open on Sunday), the mechanic notified me that my fuel injector needed to be replaced. The mechanic contacted the local Honda dealer for parts, and the parts/service member told him that part number for my specific make and model was updated, and he gave the mechanic an updated part number. Also, the parts dealers said that the part was on back order nationally. This was in February of 2024. In August of this year, I was able to get an diagnostic appointment at a dealer in another city, and they provided an update. They reported that there was an issue with the fuel system that needed further diagnosis, and that it would cost me an additional near $400 to do and that they might have to keep my car overnight to complete the diagnostic. Since the start of this issue, I still sometimes experience misfiring and jerking when I try to accelerate.

I recieved a recall letter in Feb. saying that I needed ro wait until fall to have parts re-stocked. I called the Honda dealer to check and see if it is ready to have recall service, the person I spokes to said my car is not under recall. told the person that I received the recall letter in the past, but she said not all cars are under recall but only specific models, which mine was not included. I visited website that letter provided to check the eligibility, it does say, my car is under recall. I chatted with Honda about this and they were still saying mine is not under recall. I called to nhtsa hotline, the woman I spoke to, said yes. my car is under recall and told me to call the federal agency about this. This honda dealer was keep refusing the recall service, I have all the evidence of chat messages that they were lying. this need to be addressed because it is definetely related to someone's safety and they were ignoring of what they supposed to do.

I was in the parking lot of my Honda dealership last night looking at new cars. I got in my 2019 Honda Accord to go home. I started the car and I was turning around when the engine stopped. I tried to get it started again for over an hour. The Honda Dealership is saying that the high pressure fuel pump has failed and it will be about $1600 for fix it. I am glad that it failed in the parking lot and NOT while I was driving it! There was no indications of any engine problems or bad performance. The vehicle has less than 37,000 miles. It is scary to think if this had happen in rush hour traffic.

Car has all the safety lights are on. systems is shown with error msg - 'Problem. Power may be reduced. See your Dealer' Transmission, Brake system, Electric Power steering, Vehicle stability assist, Hill Start Assist, TPMS, Emission System, Auto Idle Stop, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Mitigation, Road departure Mitigation, & Charging system. The car decelerate when driving and just stops. Numerous of reports online showing a problem with fuel injectors. It's unsafe because car just slows down then stops in middle of the road. I too it to honda dealer and they said fuel injector code is coming up and other codes because all the warning lights are on. It just started out of no where.

2 episodes of loss of engine power while driving on the highway. They were almost a year apart. At highway speeds, pressing down on the gas pedal did not accelerate or keep the car at the proper speed. The check engine light would flash as I pressed down the accelerator but the engine seemed to be misfiring and had loss of power. I had to drift to a safe location. The dealership could not identify or reproduce the problem.

My 2019 Honda Accord has recently with in the last two weeks started to randomly cut out. Driving down the road and completely cuts off. So far I have been able to release the throttle, and re-apply and it would go again. I drive Uber/Lyft in the Tampa Bay area and this problem is a Huge concern for my safety as well as everyone else. Crown Honda Pinellas Park, FL had it for two days and claimed they couldn't get it to happen on a test drive, so they couldn't fix it. All warning lights came on, but reset after the car was turned off and currently have not come back on yet.

My 2019 Honda Accord showed 10 warning lights. I took it to the dealer and they advised my fuel injectors were running hot and misfiring. Requiring the replacement of one injector totaling almost $2000The vehicle only has 65,000 miles. Though the vehicle seemed drivable, I had no idea if it would just stop running, and it required immediate intervention.

The fuel injectors failed at around 150,000 miles. The entire dash will light up with warnings and the car will loose power. I had it checked with the dealer and all of my maintenance's have been done at the dealer. My advisor said that it was due to the fuel injectors and that I would need to replace all of the injectors and the injector rack. That would cost approximately $1,500, but that I could still drive the car like that because my car is in great condition and I always take care of it. He said drive it, "But just don't punch it (accelerate) to much". My advisor knows that I commute to work, I drive about 150 miles per day and that was the advise that he gave me. At 167,000 miles, as I was driving to work, my car started to pull on me, as if it was chocking, I released the gas and continued, but I noticed that the car wasn't accelerating anymore. I pulled over to the shoulder on the freeway and turned off the car, I restarted the car to see if it would continue and it moved for about a mile and then it started pulling again. I called my employer to let them know that I was having car trouble and that I will not make it to work. I returned home and went straight to the dealership. I met with my advisor and he said, "We'll take a look an I'll get back to you by the end of the day." By the end of the day my advisor informed me that I had a blown head gasket and needed fuel injector replacements and that it would cost me around $5,000 to fix it. My question was, "Did this occur because I didn't repair the fuel injectors when you told me?" He said, "No." My thing is, if I have always took my car to the dealership for all maintenance work, how come they didn't know that my car was leaking or taking in liquid to the engine. I've spoken to other Honda owners with 2018 thru 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5 an 2.0 and at least 15 of them have told me that they've had fuel injector problems with their cars and 5 of them had blown head gaskets. Recall needed
